Yup, awesome conference that just won national championship and then had tremendous portal success. Thankfully we have Rick to compete and imo carve out a bid deserving middle of pack BE status hopefully. Nothing is a lock in BE though.Going to be fun in the Big East next season. Confident we have a game day Coach and enough talent to play with anyone. Bring it on!
No locks. I just think SJU will be capable of winning every game they play. Doesn’t mean they will but this team will be in the mix. I can’t even remember the last time we could say that and mean it.Yup, awesome conference that just won national championship and then had tremendous portal success. With all due respect, nobody cares who we love or who we hate. It’s only about money and more money! There is NO more tradition!Football brings big $$not basketball. No more rules or limits on anything.I'll say this. I wanted UCONN back last time, and if I remember correctly a lot of posters here did not because they felt they had betrayed the conference. I just felt at that point in time it was better for the Big East, and I think that's proven to be true. Plus I'm a bit of a traditionalist and wanted as many original Big East teams together under one roof after Syracuse, Pitt, and Boston College decided they'd rather be irrelevant in the ACC.
With that said, if UCONN leaves again, they are DEAD to me. I repeat: DEAD DEAD DEAD DEAD.
I don’t really care if UCONN stays or goes. Too many good things going on with us and Big East in general to care what those aholes do.
