NC Johnnie ,Assists don’t always translate to good ball handling ., Boum has a poor handle . Here’s a quote from a Poster on the Xavier Board . Go Musketeers said “ we need a PG bad . Boum handling the Ball is horrendous .” Others lamented Boum’s costly turnovers in the last minute that snatched defeat from Victory . While their Board is very supportive of his offense and play this year , he does get criticism for his D and with his slight frame gets pushed around a lot underneath . .Sly, he averages 4.8 assists per game which is more than either Posh or Curbelo and 4th in Big East. Yes, he had a few bad turnovers last night but was also coming back off a bad ankle sprain last game. The full year stats just do not support him being a poor ball handler. Saw most of the game last night but missed the last play are talking about (dozed off after staying up for the Johnnies the night before lol) so can't comment on Miller's coaching decision there.
They'd owe a $30 million exit fee if they leave sometime in the next 3 years and will gradually decrease after that.Whether true or not Twitter rumblings tonight about UConn sniffing around leaving the BE
Apparently full payout to ACC teams doesn't kick in right away.If they go to a major and play football they'd be guaranteed $25 (ACC) to $50 (Big 12) million per year so the $30 million one time would be more than made up for after less than 2 years. Big 10 makes even more as I think the SEC will in it's new deal but I don't think they're getting invites from them.
UConn has been begging for a large conference invite for years and if they ever get one they will leave. They'd owe a $30 million exit fee if they leave sometime in the next 3 years and will gradually decrease after that.
UConn not likely to be involved in any conference realignment
With news that Texas and Oklahoma are angling to leave the Big XII, conference...www.ctinsider.com
I see UNC as more of a Big 10 school. Think SEC would have to go NC St. if they want to expand north.UConn has been begging for a large conference invite for years and if they ever get one they will leave.
As of this moment no major conference wants them. The Big 10 definitely isn’t interested, the Big 12 passed in favor of UC, Houston, BYU, and UCF. The ACC passed on them in their last expansion. The Pac-12 is geographically silly and potentially dying and the SEC is well the SEC.
For UConn to get the major conference money they need the following to happen.
1. Pac-12 strikes out on expansion and get a really bad media deal.
2. Washington and Oregon jump ship and take a second tier deal with the Big 10.
3. The SEC wanting to keep their football power over the big 10 invite Clemson, Miami, FSU and hopefully VaTech (but more likely UNC).
4. ACC back fills with UConn and invites ND again who rejects them again.
Unfortunately this scenario splits up Duke and UNC and is the being of the end of traditional basketball rivalries.
This was bound to happen. Should never have let them back in the first place.Whether true or not Twitter rumblings tonight about UConn sniffing around leaving the BE

SJU could squirrel the money away in an empty coffee can labeled “Anderson’s Buy-Out Fund”.Is it really such a bad thing for the Big East if they leave? The conference will pocket $30 mil, and can easily replace them with a better fit like Dayton. Regardless, if I remember correctly, admitting UConn back in was a requirement by Fox when negotiating the last TV contract. So that's another plus, the contract is already signed.

Good riddance! Don't the MSG door hit you on the way out...Is it really such a bad thing for the Big East if they leave? I think we all want UConn to leave. The problem is they got no place to go. We (the Big East) got duped, we let our dead beat family member live with us instead of slumming it in the AAC. They keep saying they are going to move in with their new girl friend, but it'll never happen. We will be stuck with them and their litany of problematic coaches for time infinitium.Good riddance!
