Kalkbrenner just lost this game for Creighton two complete boneheaded plays in row by him.Creighton/Providence tonight is some high level basketball
They don't have much else, besides I'd take him in a heartbeat.Boem or however to spell his name, is a great player but , has a terrible handle and committed 3 terrible turnovers vs Xavier last night that cost X the game . I’m surprised Miller had him handling the ball down the stretch vs Marquette . It wasn’t just last night either, he’s turn over prone with his dribble all year .
Of course we would , but , the way it looked to me is that anyone else , Except Nunge , couldn’t have been worse than Bohm at that key point in game . He mishandled the ball 3 times in a row on their final possessions .They don't have much else, besides I'd take him in a heartbeat.
Miller trusts him, he had an off day. I've seen him win games for them as well. While we're at it, I'd take Miller in a heartbeat too.Of course we would , but , the way it looked to me is that anyone else , Except Nunge , couldn’t have been worse than Bohm at that key point in game . His 2.4 A:TO is best on his team an near the tops in the BE.Boem or however to spell his name, is a great player but , has a terrible handle and committed 3 terrible turnovers vs Xavier last night that cost X the game . True enough but , Bohm usually plays off the Ball most of the time . Kunkel , who fouled out , usually handles the ball more as does Jones . All I’m saying is in that situation last night , after 2 ball handling gaffes , why give him the ball again ? That’s a move I would expect from CMA giving WUSU the ball but , Miller ? As for Stats , sometimes they don’t tell the story since game situations vary so much . The bottom line is Miller put him in a game deciding situation that isn’t his strong suit . He’s a SG not a PG . Still , he’s had a great year and in contention for BE POY . By the way , I think Soriano should be in that mix but , our record is against him winning .His 2.4 A:TO is best on his team an near the tops in the BE.
Sly, he averages 4.8 assists per game which is more than either Posh or Curbelo and 4th in Big East. Yes, he had a few bad turnovers last night but was also coming back off a bad ankle sprain last game. The full year stats just do not support him being a poor ball handler. Saw most of the game last night but missed the last play are talking about (dozed off after staying up for the Johnnies the night before lol) so can't comment on Miller's coaching decision there.True enough but , Bohm usually plays off the Ball most of the time . Do you think either Kunkel or Jones are more pg’s than sg’s? I think the obvious answer there is no. Miller went with the guy who’s been his best ball handler all year.True enough but , Bohm usually plays off the Ball most of the time .
