Around the Big East

One site I use for sports investing. These are the odds to win the big east. Top 4 bunch closely. Then sju at 5 kind of by itself. Then 6.7.8 closely grouped and 9 and 10 way behind.

PC vs. Rider at 6:30 and Gtown vs. Coppin State at 8:30 both on FS1 tonight. Tomorrow night Seton Hall vs. Monmouth at 8 on FS1 in last of BE team openers

Providence in a bit if a hole down 12 vs rider late in first half. Rider has a bunch of returners. Prov exact opposite.

Best for BE that prov snuck that one out. Even had money on them. Still, I found myself pulling for rider.

Gtown pulled it out over coppin st in overtime. They have a transfer form Duquense named Primo who is an excellent ball player.
Only four points from G'town's bench tonight. Of course, it's extremely early but if they're gonna have to count on their starting 5 to produce points the bulk of minutes and points; they're probably gonna find themselves clawing and fighting most games in conference.

We'll, yeah, I'm sure they didn't cover, so you might as well root for Rider. If I'm betting a favorite, and I know late in the game that they won't cover, then I always hope they lose outright.

They were missing Dante Harris who was supposed to be their starting PG but think it’s unknown if/when he returns. If he doesn’t they are in big trouble. They looked BAD tonight against a team playing the second night of a back-to-back after being uncompetitive against a mediocre Charlotte team

It is time for us to ascend up to the top tier in conference play. The more we see these BE East Coast rosters revealed (Prov, UConn) they have lost a ton of veteran leadership and obviously lost some legendary coaches that we could never get by consistently (Wright, Willard).

We are a more talented and a more spirited group this season, it’s obvious. To no fault of their own Julian, Smith and Wheeler all had reserved, laid back approaches.

The leadership roles have now been replaced with hungry, tough nosed kids in Posh and Soriano. Curbelo brings a pizzaz that we haven’t seen since maybe Darryl Hill. Jones brings a combination of brute strength and versatility since when Postell?

The teams attitude has shifted thanks to these high profile, talented transfers. Get through Nebraska and Brooklyn unscathed and then we might really get rolling.
