The two great "what-ifs" in St. John's coaching history.

2. What if we hired Bob McKillop instead of Norm Roberts?  He'd still be here and he'd likely be closing in on several St. John's coaching records by now.  We'd consider him right behind Looie and Lapchick in St. John's history.
The only problem I have with this is that I don't think Curry becomes Curry if he doesn't end up with McKillop. I live in Oakland and have enjoyed a long stretch of winning basketball./media/kunena/emoticons/grin.png
Oh, provided he got the PT, I think Steph would have "become Curry" regardless of who was coaching him. Besides, the most influential coach he ever had was probably his dad, a pretty good shooter himself.

Just saw that Nova - Temple game tomorrow is postponed. As of now, looks like Depaul - Butler (5 pm) and Seton Hall - Providence (7 pm) are still on. Both on FS1.

Per JP Pelzman

Seton Hall announces that Ike Obiagu and Tyrese Samuel will miss tonight's game because of COVID protocols. Also, Jahari Long is out for the rest of the season after undergoing knee surgery last week. Tough deal for the Pirates.

Tyrese is still in Montreal and is busy with his home town buddies remotely.

Noah Horchler, 6th year senior, a very underrated player for PC; we better be sure not to give him any room for open threes.

Providence is an incredibly experienced team. They play 8 guys, 6 of whom are seniors and 4 of those are 5th year seniors. One weakness is they only have two guys who can consistently hit the three (Horchler & Reeves) and Reeves is kind of streaky.

Watched them last night.  They’ll be a handful.

Yes, I watched them as well.  Coming off last year I think many (including myself) underestimated the Friars.
