I have two co-workers with daughters going into their junior years both of whom are doing well academically. My co-workers rave about the school.
I wasn't disparaging the U. He chose them over USC and Wisconsin so he's a kinda smart kid. I am just amazed that they think they will be able to run campus-as-usual in 10 days.

Hampton transfer F Ben Stanley has committed to Xavier. Nice pickup for Travis Steele. Will be interesting to see if he can get a waiver and play this season for the Musketeers. Tough, high-energy, productive big man.
Love that schools like them and Butler hire from within and create a true program and culture.
We tried that once
Didn't work out very well for us :(
Was that brian mahoney?
Yes. Brian was initially given a 3 year contract. The team finished 2nd in the Big East and made it the 2nd round of the NCAA during his first year. Brian was the Big East Coach of the Year and he was awarded with a long term contract. I believe it was for 7 years. Things quickly went downhill after that. The next three years, we made the NIT once and lost in the first round. Brian was fired after his fourth year at the helm.

Austour, I didn’t think you were so sorry if I gave that impression. I was just throwing in my two cents worth about the school. I agree that with you about them thinking they will be a able to open campus up like normal in less than two weeks.

I remember when they left the BE, one of the comments that their then President, Donna Shalala made was the ACC academic profile fit Miami better. It was then through research that I found out how good a school it was and not just party and football U (“I went to St. John’s with a guy who started out at Miami. After a year in a half, he came home with six credits. I told him if that was me, my father would have put me six feet under and it would have been after one semester.

4 star PG Stevie Mitchell (#112 on 247 Composite) will choose on Wednesday. Likely Marquette.

Huge for Creighton

Creighton's Denzel Mahoney and Damien Jefferson are withdrawing from the 2020 NBA Draft and will return to school next season, per Greg McDermott.

I can’t believe either if those kids would think about declaring. What are these kids smoking these days?

Sandro Mamujelashvili tells me he's coming back to Seton Hall.
Good move and think he's got a chance to put up big #'s. I like watching him play.

Sandro should be one of the better players in the league this year IMO, if he returns. Zach's article is more of a puff-piece because of Sandro was really guaranteed to be a second round pick he would have left it seems. He wasn't going to get drafted. Now the key for whether he'll actually return in my view will be dictated by whether the college season gets pushed back and what the season may look like. If the season gets kicked to January with uncertainty, I wouldn't be shocked if Sandro decides to go to Europe for a year to get paid and see how that plays out.

After today’s addition of Jalin Billingsley, Georgetown sits with the 20th ranked class in America.

Hoyas adding in the toughness category this summer. Will look for the home-run next with Chet Holmgren, Pat Baldwin, Efton Reid, Aminu Mohammed in sight.

There is no harm or downside for the player to put their name in and get feed back from the pros. Some will use this and improve when they go back to college. Others are just done with school period and ready to move on.

We need to pray that our lack of commits is due to having a full roster for the next 2 years. This staff needs to come out like gang busters and have a monster 2022 clas or we r in deep sh!t.

I think Ewing has a 2 yr plan to get Georgetown back to the upper division of the BE. Again guys even with them being down and after last year's disappointment Georgetown and Ewing still hassome cache in the recruiting game. And his plan is to rebuild the roster to have them ready to breakthrough in 2021-22. He is not going to get fired even with a poor year this year which most expect. I mean if you plan on giving him only 1 more year to make the NCAA's you might as well fire him now because that is very unlikely to happen. But he also knows that he won't get much longer before the knives will be out. Last year was supposed to be the big year and he had the roster initially at least before it fell apart. So he is going to get a 2 yr run here I believe.

The thing I admire about him is he seems to keep working hard. Despite being a legend and the accolades that come with it. That being said, have to wonder if he will look to jump to the NBA sometime soon. He was an assistant in the NBA and always seemed his goal was to land a head coaching spot there.
