Around the Big East 19/20
No fan base in the BE dislikes their coach more than Marquette fans and Wojo, in my experience. He has recruited well, but I think the results overall have been underwhelming given the talent he has had. That said, I think recent history shows that Marquette coaches view that job as somewhat of a a stepping stone if a Power 5 school job opens that is at least somewhat attractive. I would think Wojo jumps at that opportunity if one presents itself.

Based on how he has fared, I don't see him leaving for another job of that kind anytime soon. I think the next logical one will be Willard if he continues to have some success. He's overtly flirted or apparently considered leaving the Hall various times, including early in his tenure when he wasn't as successful (Holy Cross), later when he started to have some degree of success (South Florida) and then two years ago when Va Tech opened up.
recently he had one eye on the Maryland job so the rumors go.

One of the Fox regional stations reran our March game vs. Marquette yesterday afternoon featuring Penny's clean steal at the end... it was good to see Wojo suffer.

Great watching Rutherford, Williams and Champagnie have super games.

Enormous news. I said I thought Carton is the best incoming transfer in the BE and now he is immediately eligible. He is an All-League caliber player when he steps on the floor. And Marquette has the best class coming. They have a change to be really good next year.

NCAA will let everyone through. Since the waivers will be gone soon after. This is the year to try it.
This is definitely the year to try to push the envelop. Not sure I like it though.

I don't want LJ transferring to Nova or Uconn.

He can’t transfer to either, regardless of the waiver situation

UConn's isn't officially a member until July 1, I think. He could attempt it.

Seton Hall has offered 7’0 F/C Souleymane Doumbia (2021) of Navarro College @NavarroBball

IPFW graduate transfer Brian Patrick just committed to DePaul. Averaged 11.1 PPG and made 53 three-pointers this past season.
Evan Daniels

Rothstein;

Only seven of the Big East's top 20 scorers from last season will return to the conference next year.

Door is open for plenty of new faces to emerge in 20-21.

Conflicted about this because there's a lot of crazy propaganda, hatred, and violence coming from BLM like the 5 murdered cops in Dallas and the 2 NYPD cops executed sitting in their car. That must stick to them the same way bad apples are being stuck to other groups. But if the intention is positive and it doesn't just become "white people suck and cops are pigs" then I'm all for it.
I'm conflicted about the BLM patches. If BLM truly cared about improving black communities and improving culture starting at home, I would be all for it. They do some good things like calling out a real problem of police brutality and to an extent institutional racism /everyday racism (I believe both exist but is not nearly as big as many claim), but unfortunately they are at least associated with some terrible things that are very radical. Namely, chanting "what do we want? Dead cops! When do we want it? Now!" several years back, inspiring Micah Johnson to murder 5 innocent white (he specifically targeted white ones) cops and injuring 9 others, Kaeperneck (a huge BLM supporter) wore pig socks (implying all police are pigs), and it definitely borders on being a racist movement if it isn't one. To me, BLM is alt left just as white nationalist groups are alt right. But they are treated very differently. I hate tribalism and nationalist movements since they just divide us further and blame each side as the enemy. But now BLM is becoming mainstream. Do you remember what happened at Charlottesville? One white racist POS drove into a crowd and killed an innocent woman peacefully protesting and injuring countless others. It was reprehensible. The media talked about it nonstop and still brings it up to this day. But the media spent a few days talking about FIVE innocent police officers murdered at a BLM protest. They got executed. Why is it that the craziest most violent radicals of the left always get a pass and it doesn't ruin their entire movement and the ones on the right apply to the entire movement? There's also the BLM inspired murder of random NYPD cops sitting in their cars. They should be very very careful how they handle this. I'm all for peaceful protesting and I agree with BLM on certain things...but there certainly is a lot of very radical/borderline or flat our racist talking points in the movement. If they want to be seen as a mainstream political movement, they should be criticized for their crazy members/sympathizers just as any far right movement would be.
Paragraphs brother! Paragraphs! ;)

Sorry lol I just condensed it a lot above. By the way, after more research it even says BLM plans to destroy the "Western nuclear family" and its founder is affiliated with a similar movement to BLM that says "we will avenge the suffering of our ancestors". Look up the word, "avenge". It means to inflict harm for a wrong that was done to you. This doesn't sound like anything positive.I think the Big East did this all for the positive PR to take advantage in a moment. What does this say to the police officers who are fans of these teams? They want to defund the police, destroy the western style nuclear family, and avenge their ancestors. Doesn't exactly sound like progress to me. Just more hate in response to hate.

DePaul has announced the addition of grad transfer Brian Patrick, who spent 2 seasons at Kansas State before a year at Purdue Fort Wayne. The 6-foot-5 guard has played in 81 games with 75 three-pointers. He makes it 4 Blue Demon transfer pickups this offseason. #DPUBB
