Around the Big East 18/19

Penn wins 78 to 75!
Villanova's 25 game win streak in Big Five play comes to an end.
Nova does not look like a standout in the Big East this year.
Conference is wide open and should be very competitive.

Great win for the Quakers. Great win for the rest of the Big 5. (Nova is hated by the rest of the Big 5). As an aside. If you love college basketball, make a point of coming down here to see either a Big 5 game, or a big time game here at the Palestra. Truly a magical experience.

And now with Colorado vs New Mexico, we get Bill Walton as a commentator. I honestly can’t take his schtick. Time to change the channel.

Villanova and the Big East take a hit here. That pisses me a bit but I think we sweep Nova this year once we get Keita back and Heron hits his groove. We could be the best team in the Big East this year if we execute like the Quakers did tonight.

Enjoyable game to watch, tough result for the Big East but Fran said it best, Penn deserved to win.
Lookout JLin, Michael Wang is in the house!

That’s just, like, you’re opinion, man...

Agree! No idea how anyone couldn’t see that he was out coached this game. I mean he does go at least 9 players deep and his players, many being over 20 years old and more highly rated were outclassed tonight. No idea what he is thinking only playing two of his freshmen Swinder 12 mins and Quinerly 1 min.

:)

Maybe the Nova kids threw the game (joking of course) for future job offers. I remember when my brother's Cornell lax team was getting thumped by Cuse the Cuse players joked be nice we will be working for these kid some day.

I mentioned my “annoyance” of listening to him on another thread. II watched the Gonzaga/Washington game with him on the broadcast but last night I turned the channel.

Hope staff watched that game carefully and learn something for when we play them, but how are luck goes they will probably have their best game not missing shots that day

I'm sure they were watching Bonanza reruns instead.

Lots of interesting roster news this morning with Quinerly unhappy, Quade Green of UK looking to leave midseason and former transfer target Desaun Murray leaving WKU to go pro overseas.
