we need to defiantly change our style for this game, i truly think we have to press them most of the game.

Root for Georgetown, Creighton and Marquette tomorrow.
I thought we wanted Georgetown to lose since they can get the 3 seed by winning both.
I look at it this way, if Georgetown wins both and gets a better seed than us, so be it but we would still be playing Thursday.

If DePaul wins both and ties us at 8-10 we could get pushed down to the Wednesday night game because they own the tiebreaker with us

Also I don’t expect Georgetown to win both with a Road game against Marquette coming up

Here’s how I want the rest of the season to play out to get us the best path through the big east tournament. Again this is assuming a loss against Xavier because if we beat Xavier I’m hoping that mean the BET doesn’t matter as much cause we should have locked up a bid. Bold all winners

Creighton vs Providence
DePaul vs Georgetown
Seton Hall vs Marquette
Providence vs Butler
Creighton vs DePaul
Marquette vs Georgetown
Seton hall vs Villanova
Xavier vs St. John’s

If all this happens we will be the 6 seed which sucks but our path through the tournament would be, reasonable. Take a look. This is the bracket if everything above takes place

Lots of permutations and like you I hope we beat Xavier to makes these seedings less crucial. Having said that, my only tweak to your desired results would be to have Butler beat PC because then instead of Nova playing either Depaul or PC, they'd play either Depaul of Butler - would prefer to avoid any chance of us playing PC in the event Nova gets upset.

Seton Hall is a 2-point underdog tonight at home against No. 16 Marquette. Surprisingly close imo.

Good point NC, and yes that’d be fine cause the split with butler we got during the season and our record against the top 2 big east teams would win us the tiebreaker and keep butler playing Wednesday and us playing Thursday

The oddsmakers must know Seton Hall’s closet employee, Stephens, is reffing the game. Lol.

Great analysis Jack. That path you have mapped out for us is ideal as well. Creighton and then Villanova are two teams we could beat.

Mysteriously, Seton Hall's 3 assistant coaches resigned prior to tonight's game. Their replacements are TBD, but purportedly have some connection to "officials involved in college basketball". For more information, Tiny Morton's third cousin will be providing a report from the SH athletic department.

More impressive is Howard still able to average 4 assists a game without sacrificing his ability to score the ball.

Marquette has a pretty good guard sitting out this year. A transfer from Utah State, he was their best player last year. Can't recall the name.

Also a guard named Elliott also was injured and sat out I believe.

SH really defending well, making M’Q turn it over a lot, but have to find scoring besides Powell. Hall trails by 3 with a few minutes left in first half. Howard AWOL w zero points.
