Around the Big East 18/19

Seton hall gonna win this one after Powell drills a dagger 3. McDermott has to be on the hot seat, in my opinion. His team looks so unbelievably lost late in games. Worse than us. And he’s too experienced of a coach to have his team looking like this.

Also I appreciate the kids toughness but if you can’t shoot you shouldn’t play

referring to creightons point guard who played with a broken hand

SH playing great D but C passing up some open looks than horrible job taking care of ball.

After the way we lost @ their place, that game has been a must win all year. Even moreso now

Unless something happens with the federal case he could coast through more than a couple bad years.

Im not alone. Check out the creighton boards. also, he hasnt been much of a winner according to creighton fans, They are tired of getting into the dance and losing immediately. I know from our perspective they sound spoiled. But it is true.

I don't doubt that CU fans are mad, am sure VU fans are second guessing Wright now. These coaches didn't get stupid overnight and have proven themselves over time. Every fan is quick to pull the trigger now, sad.

They better watch out, what they wish for...

Seton Hall has a pretty tough last four games on their schedule. Next Xavier at home - that's a win; but then:
@ Gtown
@ SJU
home vs. Marquette
home vs. Nova.

So they'll have a bunch of opportunities, but none of those last four are easy.
Marq/Nova = 1-3 vs SJU
Marq/Nova = 19-0 vs rest of Big East
Part of the reason is that Marquette and Nova rely on good guard play. Fortunately, we have been able to shut their guards down. Same story with Butler. Some of the "lesser" teams coming up, are more likely to dump it low and grind (i.e. DePaul). None of them are unbeatable, but there are definitely challenging games ahead.
