Citing exceptions to disprove obvious rules is a sure way to failure.

Do I need to make a list of kids who didn't? Do I have to analyze the success rate of top 100 players vs. the success rate of 200-300 players? Do I have to participate in this ridiculousness? LOL

Of course you can. You never know absolutely but just like anything in life you can make assumptions based on factors that are readily apparent. And what's readily apparent is that none of the new players next year are likely to be difference makers. Hopefully most of them can be productive role players and the team be good enough to not have to play Wednesday in the BET riding Shamorie, Marv and Simon. And hopefully some difference makers will come in the 2019 class.

Also let me clarify I think Seton Halls class is underrated rankings wise and they did much better than we did with this 18 class. They got guys with skill sets that fit their needs and style of play, which is far more important than HS rankings. I like Williams,Roberts and Diakite they are high level athletes and should be good players if they develop properly. Earlington I'm not so sure of, he might not be a Big East level player but we will see. The thing about our class is we didn't fill any our biggest holes. We need a bigger post player who can bang and hit the boards. We could also use a taller wing player who can catch and shoot and play perimeter defense. A stretch forward wouldn't hurt either. We got pretty much none of those with this class. Seems like we just took whoever was willing to come. So while our classes are similarly ranked imo they had a better class.
Nova toyed with Kansas after running out to a 22-4 lead early. Very business like and their offense hums along like a well oiled machine. Makes me wonder if we all just dreamed we beat them in February, there is not way we could beat this team.
Yes SH has done better than us in recruiting and coaching for some time now that's what frustrates us all.We can not go on like this anymore next yr is produce or you know what!
The NCAA needs a sacrifice to save face and protect its gang of recruiting criminals (LOU, AZ, UCONN, KY, et al), so it picks on DePaul?!!? What caustic crap. Hope we’re not ‘next’!
