Bonnies just knocked off previously undefeated Clemson at Clemson. Agree with whoever said they'd be a great OOC opponent to add to our schedule next year (replacing Mississippi Valley State lol).

St. Bonnies would be a great choice but unlike FDU , St Fran, etc. they would probably demand SJU play the following year at their arena. SJU has avoided that type of game in the makeup of their OOC schedule pretty much forever. They have played conference vs conference games in the early season lately against big time opponents but the remaining ten or so OOC games are played vs teams that don’t demand a return game at their place.
If Cragg is looking to raise the SJU profile he should consider scheduling teams like St Bonnies, Temple and St Joes who will provide better competition but will require a game at their place.

Game wasn't at Clemson was actually part of the Charleston Classic Tournament we played in a few years ago (realize Charleston is in SC but not really a home court advantage). Nevertheless nice win for the Bonnies.

You make it sound like the #22 team in the country upset their unranked, no poll votes, Ken Pom #54 opponent.   /media/kunena/emoticons/grin.png

Good win by  Marquette.  And hofstra staying close to Maryland continues to show how overrated the big 10 is.   BE deserves 6 teams in tourney.

Not that this means anything, but Lunardi has us as an 11 seed, w 6 BE teams in.
It means he saw enough other sportswriters praising us that he felt comfortable putting us in.

Man Purdue is good. Not hard to understand why Wheeler decided to transfer.

They will be a tough matchup for Villanova tomorrow. I thought North Carolina played well also.

Dawson Garcia , ex Marquette , showed a lot too .  He’s going to be a pro after his College BB career is over .   Hard to believe Shaka Smart couldn’t convince him to stay in Milwaukee .  But , who knows …

Indiana throttled Louisiana 76-44 yesterday. Louisiana shot a ridiculous 14-73. Greg Williams had 2 points and 2 assists in 21 minutes. Louisiana has a Pomeroy rating of 166 after the game.

On the strength of their wins over St Johns and Louisiana Indiana dropped from 27 to 30 in the writers poll.  32 in the first coaches poll.  Redmen no longer receiving any votes from writers nor any from coaches.
