St. Louis Billikens getting a $20M student- athlete facility...

Hopefully along the lines of what Cragg aspires to upgrade Taeffner/Carnesecca to (outside of the renovated on campus playing Canesecca Arena itself which isn't happening in foreseeable future unless we can fund $100M+)

At Big 12 Media Day - Huggins saying time for 'major' schools to have their own tournament and the 'others' can have their own:

"They're doing it in football," Huggins told ESPN at Big 12 media day. "Why wouldn't they do it? The presidents and athletic directors that have all the juice, why wouldn't they do it? Makes no sense why they wouldn't do it. I think it's more 'Why wouldn't they?' than 'Why would they?' And then, the other people, they can have their own tournament."

A number of those six, probably the three from Texas, asked to join the Mountain West, and were told the MW preferred to remain at 12 schools.

Which one of our posters graduated from Charlotte?  Can't remember.  Getting old sucks.

Per Jon Rothstein

Bill Self told reporters that Jalen Wilson will be suspended for Kansas' exhibition game and the first three regular season games for his recent DUI. He will also serve community service.

This means that Wilson is OUT for the Champions Classic on 11/9 against Michigan State.

The NCAA rejected Oklahoma State’s appeal and has banned the MBB program from the 2022 postseason, sources told @CBSSports. This is the first postseason ban handed down by the NCAA in relation to the 2017 FBI investigation into bribery/fraud in CBB recruiting.

If Nova 4:30 game is the expected blowout another option before 7 o'clock games start is Akron with former Johnnie Bryan Trimble playing #17 Ohio State at 6 pm on ESPN2.
