Around College Basketball

I can't comment on the rest of them, but always thought Carlyle leaving Stanford was stupid. And after seeing his numbers this year and him back in the portal, I can't say I was wrong.

Interesting game to watch on CBS today (Saturday) at 3 pm

Nova Southeastern is playing in the D2 championship tournament.

What makes it interesting is the style of play which Nova Southeastern has.

Nova Southeastern presses 100% of the time it is on defense. … off of rebounds, passes- all of the time. I do not know of any other team than utilizes this system.

The system has been very successful on the D2 level.

CMA was a big proponent of 40 minutes of hell,...............oh wait a minute.

No, BE doesn’t get as much, but the assumed allotment towards bball from the football school, is less than what the BE schools are getting.
It comes from the court or house settlement that each school can pay up to 20.5 million to their athletes so it’s same for all schools. You might be talking about TV contract revenue which is different for each conference.

Yes they don’t get it though it comes out of the schools money and budget.
It will be interesting to see what SJU does with this payout. Since the University subsidizes all athletics expenses and keeps all revenue derived from athletics, wondering how much of the 20 mil will flow back to the teams and athletes or will the 3rd floor hold onto a % to pay down the athletic budget which in the red?
