you guys think back to the kids we were rumored with... and what we would look like had some decisions went a different way...

Longest affair... Cliff... lol... would he team with Zuby? Cliff at Center- Zuby at PF.... not sure i would be a fan... and clear as day Zuby needs 30 mins... would Cliff be our Vince? (lol) .... or would be missing out on what Zuby brings... Verdict- Happy we didnt bring Cliff.

Ian Jax / Boogie Fland... not sure how "close" we were to these two... but know we made a push... would these two have nixed the Smith / Kadary signings? not sure we are suited for Freshmen leading roles now... or for Sim to be the Leader (yet) of the back-court.... Verdict- Smith/Kadary

Not sure who else we were close with... know we had Bensley/Kerr on Campus... happy with who we got over them... we are "missing" a knock down shooter- someone to keep the defense real honest.... Brea would have been amazing.... but he had every school on him

Think Watkins (FSU) was one who was very close... is he a shorter RJ?...

My biggest what-if I have. Koby Brea. We'd be top five in the country with him... Probably has no impact on the current roster makeup either.

Agree he'd make the biggest difference for us... but do we still get Scott/Smith/Kadary? does someone transfer out? he definitely bringing a skill that would command 20+ mins...

havent watched much of him, does he play D? we know Rick doesnt let you see much of the floor without D

If my memory is right, we were going after him after we already signed Scott. He's the one guy who would be in conflict. It seems like we had a hefty amount of NIL left, so I don't know if it would've impacted them either.

Brea's defense is...fine. lol. Definitely not unplayable, and really would've worked perfectly on this roster. He's much bigger than I thought. I think he'll be a ten year pro.

One huge guy you didn't mention was Norchad Omier. Having him and Zuby down low would've been absolutely insane.

When you’re trading 3 for 2 and you’re getting the 3 you take it. Not sure latest stats but not to long ago he was shooting 60% from 3. Do you think all 3 point specialists are good defenders? You live with less than stellar D.
 
We need someone like Aaron Scott to start hitting more three pointers to reach our potential. To date I see a very good team but we need to improve from the 31.7 from three and of course you cant be a real contender when you shoot 67 percent from the line.

He had major shoulder surgery this fall and will miss his entire senior year. If he wants to use his last year of eligibility, he is going to have to transfer as the Ivy League does not allow redshirt seasons. Your four year clock starts there the first day of classes when you step onto campus.
