SMU beats WVU by 12 and I've heard alot people talking slazinski over Ledlum, how about these stats 34 MP, 5 of 13 shooting 13 points and wait wait 1 rebound! Were good with who we got!;) thanks Ricky P.
Slazinsky is more of a finesse player than Ledlum, and is not nearly as good of a rebounder. Given the overall lack of size on the roster, Ledlum was a better use of a roster spot. Not knocking Slazinski, but he is more of a hybrid three/four, and with Taylor and Luis the three is covered.

Ledlum was the greater need, which will become more apparent when Luis returns.

Slaz was playing on the wings, he's more of a long two/three than a four.
Thank for the clarification but there was a ton of chatter on this subject and besides him trying to bulldoze to the rim, I love his toughness and rebounding both we need in bunches around here. I believe we are in very good shape at the 2 and 3, front court depth will definitely be tested this year.

QS isn’t the same rebounder Ledlum is but he has better perimeter skills. That has been Ledlum’s role thus far.

Ledlum is shooting 35% from the field with only 1.8 assists. QS is shooting 42% from the field on almost all treys with 3.0 assists.

If shooters step up then Ledlum is the better choice. If we struggle with shooting QS starts looking really good.

And it took me a little bit to wake up to QS as Ledlum is far more in line with what I want from a PF.

I think Ledlum’s shooting numbers will improve as he gets more time in Pitino’s offense. He was 4/7 from three last game.

Nova taking down Tech is so big for the big east. I know there’s a contingent here that doesn’t care about the other conference teams but SJU will have so many opportunities to move up of the conference is good top to bottom.

And you want to give Pitino the playing field to move up. And he will.

If
Most of us do care
we’ve had to. Because we’ve been irrelevant
