In this day and age if I was a public figure I would go to my job and go home. I would talk to no one. Date or marry no one. Literally go from home to work and that's it. Its just not worth it. Your career could torpedo in seconds
 
Rumors and narratives circulating that he was trying to protect his daughter or that he was defending someone else. Could see a strong lawyer and PR team spinning it well enough to keep his job, true or not.
 
This seems like bad news for Georgetown donors looking to make a splash.

If it wasn't already easy to sell Pitino to Texas donors, it just got way easier. He may be slimy, but as far as I know he's never choked his wife or Little Ricky.

My +5000 Texas NC bet that looked like a steal just crashed back down to earth.

Chances there will be a video or audio or something that comes of it are probably high. I hope for the sake of the accusations and those involved that it didn’t happen and it was a misunderstanding. But something must have transpired.
 


Doesn’t look like it was the boyfriend of his daughter or anything like that. Looks like Beard is gonna be done for a while. National championship contenders lose their coach in mid December. Crazy

Has been suspended without pay. Let's see how this plays out but he can be fired for cause which includes a felony.

Just like Saunders, it is still early in his career. He had a nice game and had career highs in minutes played, points and rebounds which raised his averages to a 7 mpg, 1.9 ppg and 3.5 rpg (I like the rpg).

They had to suspend him. We will see what happens when the facts come out.

I read that there is a video/audio that Beard has that he didn’t share with police. Supposedly, showing he wasn’t the aggressor. Time will tell.
 
Saw the video of his release from jail. There was a woman next to him. If wife/fiance, you know how this goes. Imagine his fiance is younger then him. How old is his daughter?

Actually, one could argue that it does not provide perspective since those top 40 players would mostly be playing for top 25 programs where the competition is greater. Whereas Storr is the only 4 star player that Anderson has recruited and the competition is not nearly as difficult.
