Georgia tech looking poor but who cares. Rutgers btw is a pretty well-built team. Good size, athleticism and skill. They just ran into the buzz-saw that we can be that day when we are all firing on all cylinders. We have that level that we can play at that rips through god teams easily. Most of the time though, we struggle with seriously inferior opponents..

Watching Purdue last night against fla st. I saw Purdue is ranked 19th while having a 5=1 record and Davidson being the only win against any competion. It got me to wondering about our ranking with wins over Cal, Rutgers and VCU. We are undefeated from the conference that produced the National Champs. How are we not ranked? Obviously there is a Big Ten bias in college sports and the NCAA is the big part of it (ALL ABOUT MONEY). What gauls me the most though is how these ranking systems work by hypothetical analysis and ranking preseason and then by beating ranked teams etc etc...So by the rigged ranking of Big Ten teams the whole league ends up with more quality wins! Thats why the Big Ten proportionally gets more bids than any other conference but has the worst winning percentage in the tourney! We are St Johns!

Halftime: No. 8 Michigan State 39, Rutgers 37
Geo Baker exited with two fouls at 9:22, and never came back. Big, big win there for Steve Pikiell as Baker is plenty rested.
