Any more talk of moe staying or going?

Buckethead, to try and answer your question quickly. Is Moe as good as people are indicating? Yes and No. He has great athleticism, his ability to get off the floor is insane, and his rebounding is excellent, sometimes he grabs balls I didn't think he had a chance at. However, he is inconsistent. I also personally don't think he really gives it his all, all the time. He kind of goes in stages. Sometimes I thought he was too passive, and other times I thought he was too selfish. He is very lean, and doesn't have a good enough outside shot to be a 3, but there is no doubt he is physically gifted/talented.

The really good athletes are so smooth and graceful that at times they appear not be trying hard
.

I agree bobo. Look at Robinson Cano for example.

I am not disagreeing, in fact I compared him to Robbie right away. I mean it more as in sometimes he just disappeared. But I think he has the makings of being very good and I think he is a great athlete and at times a great player. Just needs more consistency imo.

RT @PeteThamelNYT: Texas junior guard J’Covan Brown will officially leave and declare for the 2012 NBA Draft.

Anyone know if this guy is a possible lottery pick?

I could be wrong, but I believe he'll end up being a 2nd round pick.

Us fat guys think alike

Hey I'm fat too but I only hope he's right, I'm not entirely sure ergo my position that's been stated earlier in the thread.

The only reason Majerus and Francesa think Harkless becomes a good pro, is because if that happens they will be the first in line to eat the a sandwich named after him from the Carnegie Deli.

Mock drafts have him going in the second round, so I think you're more right than wrong.

making an announcement at MSG that he's going makes it nearly impossible to change his mind. it's the embarassment factor.

he should make a fine pro...many second rounders are.

I am pretty sure that when it comes to his future, that the embarassment factor won't come into play. If he felt like coming back( not saying he will) ... Do you think he will sit around and say " well i made the announcement at MSG so no turning back now" .. People are so quick to label this a mistake or another sad story of a kid getting the wrong advice.. Automatically labeling Moe as a second rounder is just plain wrong. Workouts determine a kids place in the draft.. not Chad Ford.. not NBAdraft.net and certainly not the opinions of posters who want him back at St John's. Wish him luck and hope he gets drafted high and prospers in the league.

Dunno if I agree. This has become an annual rite of spring – players test the waters, see who else is jumping in and then some decide it's not the right time.

Moe wouldn't be the first player to change course. I've been thinking of this as a "wait and see" since the day of his announcement.

i wish him luck...as do virtually everyone on this board.

harkless has a tremendous upside, there's no question. there's also no question he was very inconsistant last season. if he's inconsistant at the workouts, a team will take a flier on him in the second round. if not, he's going 15 to 25 as some have predicted.

We tried to get involved but wasn't much there.

Weber State guard Damian Lillard declared. CBS is saying he is a top 10 pick.
