Anderson and Demeo's Lawsuit updates?

If that POS was my agent, I wouldn't be posting on this message board right now. I'd be preparing for the lead in the next Scorsese movie. Unfortunately my agent, Mike Maher, hasn't done squat for me yet.
Maher joining Luca Brasi is not what I had in mind.

If Sexton were my agent:
Sexton: "Hey Monte, I just convinced Scorsese that Speilberg wants you have the lead in his next movie, even though Spielberg has no clue who you are and probably wouldn't even cast you as an extra. So Marty's gonna pay you 20 Mil and give you the lead in his next flick. Oh and once production starts and he's afraid to loose you, I'm gonna go back to him and tell him that Tarantino wants you so badly, that you're considering leaving his film for Tarantino's, and you don't give a F if he sues you. That's gotta be good for another 10 Mil. Whataya think Monte?"

Monte "I love you you fat POS!"

That’s fair. But I am still disappointed with Cragg’s tenure overall. Maybe I expected at least the daily operations to be run well.

However the other programs, especially soccer (which was a gold standard for years) and baseball (successful as well) have gone backwards.

And let’s not even discuss how no one can seem to even hire a semi-competent coach to lead the lacrosse program.

Hopefully the basketball program can ignite a rebirth in those sports as well.
Soccer record has improved while Cragg was AD. Baseball has declined.

I expected sustained mediocrity, I never expected the wheels to fall off. Having said that, my feelings about Anderson and his contract/extension have been consistent throughout. So the rule of "hindsight always being 20/20" don't apply to me in this instance.
Wasn't pointing at you.

Soccer last season was 4-8-5 and didn’t even make the Big East tourney. In the last 5 years only two winning seasons. Last 9 seasons only 2 NCAA appearances. Our soccer program USED to be the gold standard that national programs compared themselves to (Indiana, Maryland, Carolina, Clemson)
Many of our teams have also fallen since this AD took over…he proclaimed excellence but look at many of our teams. Teams that usually go to NCAA postseason, men’s soccer-basketball-baseball-volleyball are in a drought. Lax went 0-14 this year. Track is getting beat by NJIT with a full scholarship team and only achieved 5th place from 9 teams at Big East Indoors and no NCAA qualifiers. Softball is going to Big East tourney with a 8-13 record and 22-27 overall, the year before that they were 12-35,🫣 W golf could only take 4th place in Big East (3rd time in 4 years). W Cross Country dead last in 11th place again. Men’s golf hasn’t gone to NCAA in 11 years.
If the Big East Conference still had the Commissioner’s Trophy emblematic of best overall athletic teams W-L and conference standings, we’d be dead last again. 🥺

Alumni Hall informative as always. I would love for Ed Kull to be called out of the bullpen.
Or our former Administrator Bill Martinov who is doing great things at LIU & CW Post combined programs. Great pedigree out of Notre Dame, SJU, Stony Brook, SUNY Maritime, LIU.

So AH, I'll once again ask this question; what has improved under Mr. Cragg?

How is that? The soccer program went to a couple of final fours and won a national championship.

They have not been close to that level in a while.

Of all that, the soccer program is still the most difficult to comprehend.

They were dominant. On top of yearly NCAA tournament appearances, there were multiple final fours, an NCAA championship, and an another loss to Maryland in the finals.

They also had a Hermann award winner and players drafted in the MLS.

Sorry, those records are hardly something to be proud of. Soccer was a top 10 program.

If that is the best Cragg has as a defense, then his administrative failures are worse than I thought.

I just said that they improved over his recent predecessor.

The loss of some very good assistant coaches that were excellent recruiters (Mark Reeves and Jeff Mateo) have def hurt the program. Interesting that Mateo went to rival Seton Hall who now have gone to 2 straight NCAA’s. How did we fire this guy? Bio👇

I have no idea except the answer for baseball with losing our coach and soccer same coach and mens golf going from Darby awhile ago to Mal to the new guy but the other sports that have declined in results has that been with new coaches hired the last several years ?

The lacrosse guy was this his first year ? I thought people were really high on his hire
