I was disappointed Simon and Clark Played so poorly today . Pondsdud not have the ball enough down the stretch . Mizzou lights out on 3’s to win the game .

agree two transfers played very poorly. Lavin was wrong . Johnnies will not go undefeated in non conference.

No loss is easy to take, but this may be one of those "good ones" the way Johnnies battled back.
Grab a win here Sunday & split the ASU & Grand Canyon games & that's a positive out of conference result.

Lastly, Martin shifting to zone & having Tigers work the ball moving ball around to find open threes changed game.

Missouri hit 8 for 8 on 3pt shots at one point in today he second half. Tough to compete with that. Hopefully we learn to defend the 3 after this game. We should not lose another out of conference game. Should 10-1 going into the Big East

It was a zone, but with Porter staying on Simon consistently. That was big, since Simon almost never is guarded by anyone bigger then him. Other teams may try this, but there are not many 6-11 guys who are as comfortable playing on the perimeter as Porter is (if he was on our team, with our players, we'd all be killing him on here).

I couldn't watch the game, but 42-22 on the boards and 10 combined fouls and 3 rebs for Owens and Clarks tells me a lot. We are going to struggle all year with out frontcourt. The back court will keep us in games, but you don't win games with a -20 rebound margin. The staff really needed to find another big man.

Mizzou shot 32 Free throws , hitting 26. We had 17 free throws , hitting 16. They hit their 3’s after we had the 8 Point lead and we went cold against their Zone outrebounded us , no surprise there .

It's going to be very tough to win both on the West Coast trip, IMO. Both of those teams are good.

Also, we might have Taco Fall waiting for us on Sunday. He'll give us problems.

If it's not them, it's WVU, and you know that Huggins would love to make it an ugly street fight against us, since that's what he likes to do against everybody. Not our game.
