He couldn't hold that smile back.

Here's hoping he keeps his academic house in order. Whitesell would work wonders with this kid.

Also, looks like he's turned some of that fat into muscle.

Reel him in Lav.

Should be public access but he says St John's went to see him play against bigs in Indiana and Lavin said within 10 minutes to offer him. He says Obekpa and Sampson could help him with his game but also said that Obekpa is more defense and he could help St Johns as a presence in the paint and control the middle.

After watching Georgetown's Josh Smith just completely dominate the paint and score so easily against Oregon last night, it's absolutely imperative that we land ADR.

I have a feeling his recruitment will blow up over the course of this year but we need to stay on top of him. We need to have staff at every CTK game even local road games.

We don't have guys that can score consistently in the post and ADR clogs up so much space. He'd be a good piece to stick next to Obekpa next year.

Not many targets on the '14 radar so ADR needs to be our #1 priority.

I thought the same thing after watching smith (we are gonna have our hands full), who cares if he ends up being our 13 man. If he can develop any type of game and feel on offense he will be impossible to stop from getting the ball down low.

Let's not forget Smith ate us up at UCLA; hopefully Lavin will adjust. We will see.

Smith will probably eat up several teams this season. It doesn't always have anything to do with Lavin adjusting.

Speaking of Smith, he was a 5-star kid for a reason. His only problem is 'want all' and endurance.

Switched to the Fordham - St. Francis PA game after the Johnnies. DeLaRosa was behind Fordham bench. I assume there to see his former teammate (Severe).

Let's not forget that our 6 or 7 scholarship team from 2 years ago beat them at the Garden with Smith playing 22 minutes. He scored 13 points, but didn't make a difference to the outcome. So, it's not like we haven't had success playing against him.

Future team mates.

Think so? Find it hard to believe that anyone considers them

New York's reigning Mr. Basketball signed with the Rams. Does SJU need another Tom Bayne?
Yes T-Bone could have been the next Bob Lanier! :)

Yep..and don't understand why he did that unless he figures he will be the man for 4 years -- and wouldn't be at any other school that courted him
