2nd Seton Hall game

FWIW, The hall look lifeless against Marquette right now, losing 24-12. Hopefully they bring this effort Thursday.

they looked like absolute garbage. Sina stinks, we could turn him over everytime he has the ball same with Teague. They got destroyed on the boards and outhustled all night. Just take the 3 away from Oliver and we win easy

This is exactly the attitude we should be avoiding. Don't feel cocky; this is a dangerous team. They have a lot of talent, albeit it inconsistent talent. When they're hot -- and granted, it's not always the case -- Edward and Oliver can kill you with 3s; Teague can score a lot inside against physically weaker match-ups; and Gibbs can break down a defense.

The last thing I want to hear after the game -- and I've heard it countless times, over and over again -- is "We weren't up when we came out"; "We were thinking of Georgetown" (i.e., our next opponent); or "It took us too long to get into it."

TAKE THESE GUYS SERIOUSLY! We haven't won on their home court in something like 15 years!!!

I'd like to see an easy win, however It won't be easy. Hope I'm wrong.
At one point last night Marquette had 12 to 1 offensive rebounds.
Gibbs, supposedly the Hall's best foul shooter, had 4 for 10. If I'm not mistaken he was terrible on the line against us. At one time he was 1 for 6. Yet he is suppose to be a 77% foul shooter.
I'm always worried about Teague and now Auda, both hangout in the low post. Hopefully, we get Teague in foul trouble.
Oliver shoots lights out and has to have someone in his jock all game. Edwin can also hurt you from the three point line.
They (S.H.) had mucho turnovers the first game. I'd expect full court pressure.

I'm going to the game tomorrow night so I really hope it happens. Looking at the schedules it looks like it wouldn't be able to be rescheduled until March 5th or March 6th

9:00 start followed by a hotel stay.
Gives them all day to bus 23 miles.

I'm not concerned about the teams getting to and from, I'm coming from Long Island and I'm worried about me being able to get there.

Great job going from LI to NJ in snow storm to see STJ- that's a fan! :cheer:

I don't think they'll cancel this game. If both teams and the television truck can get there I think that'll be the only thing that will matter. The attendance would've been poor at 9pm on a weeknight anyway IMO.

Well, they just postponed Duke-UNC tonight which are not far from each other soooooo I'm starting to think ours will get cancelled as well.

The refs have to get there too--unfortunately :)

NC/Duke game just cancelled. Christie just declared NJ a state of emergency. My sense is it is cancelled. Fort Lee GWB access roads, however, will be clear.

Carolina is different though because if they get 1 inch of snow the entire state panics

Let's just make it easy and switch the game to MSG and let Seton Hall call it a home game

A possible makeup date would be either March 5th or 6th. SJU plays at home on the 2nd and not again until the 8th and Seton Hall plays at home on the 3rd and not again until the 8th . The Prudential Center also doesn't have an event those nights.

@NYPost_Brazille: Seton Hall is an early one-point favorite tomorrow night over St. John's. A bit surprising. #sjubb

Call you own fouls, like in the schoolyard.

if the fans dont show up, the Hall loses home court advantage :) Let's play the game in an empty arena
