2nd Seton Hall game

Lets hope they get this game played tonight. SHU coming off short rest and there will be no home court advantage for the Pirates.

Plus, this way they wont have to shoehorn this game into the schedule later in the season.

The Temple game was scheduled for a 7:00 PM tipoff. Ours is scheduled for 9:00 PM. I wonder if that is better or worse for cancelling the game.

Conflicting reports. Tierney said 4 miles and this says 7! If they close the roads like recent storms it won't matter if they are a half mile away. Hopefully we play since we are stealing right now.

They bigger question is will my urban professional league game be cancelled!

Also, Seton Hall's team has to get to the arena too, they're even further from Newark than our team is.

7 miles?? Where are the staying, Staten Island? If they play, I hope it's on TV.
 
My guess is they will cancel and pretty soon. NJ does not want fans on the roads unnecessarily to try to get to game. I like the idea of a reschedule. This is a dangerous game. I am more worried about this one than Gtown at Home or Butler at home. I would rather play them when we are 9-6, than 5-6, since losing tonight would create a situation where we have to win out, and with 6 games remaining that would be long odds.

One way? Not even close unless the trains are messed up. Newark is only 20 minutes by train from ny penn.

A friend who works for the Big East told me last night that St. John's, as noted here, was in a hotel a few miles from the arena, and that Seton Hall was staying in a Newark hotel.
