The good; DLO is back. The bad: CO is injured. We need CO back because Felix does not warrant big minutes and Amar also can't be counted on for long stretches. We have to play smarter and minimize the technical fouls, it can cost us games,which we can not afford to loose. Greene and Dom also had great games. Onto the next game.

It's nice to read the board after the game and the biggest complaint is the announcers

I propose we get Gottlieb to do every SJU game for the rest of the year. DLo is averaging 32PPG when Doug is on the game lol
Gottlieb was fine, hopefully other guy goes back to driving a cab.
If you are calling a game you should at least know one of the top 5 guys in a schools history. Would be like saying I wouldn't have thought Mark Aguirre or Terry Cummings scored that many points for DePaul.
Btw I think both those guys were on same team. Ray Meyer sucked
Good win for the Johnnies tonight. DePaul is a tough matchup for them, especially with Obekpa being out.
Big game this weekend against Xavier. I've watched them a few times this year and they are a well coached team (similar to Butler in a way). St. John's needs to be crisp otherwise they'll fall behind early.

No doubt about it. Once Stanbrook gets the ball in low it's a layup. And Reynolds will have a ball. Should Obekpa miss Saturday's game then Amar has to guard Stanbrook and Sir Dom on Reynolds. If Chris returns then he can't allow Stanbrook to position in low, especially on his left. I have to figure Lavin wanted an extra few days before bringing Obekpa back. He knows he needs Chris against Xavier.

He is 6-3 and helped out down low and doesn't let bigger guys push him around. Eventually Obekpa has to start again but he has not hurt us.

That's right. Guys like Seiden and Alfieri played three years on the varsity.
Yeah, Sheed only had 15 pts, 7 rbds, 4 asst, 3 stls, 1 blk...he was terrible. Not his best game, but c'mon. He was an important part of this win. The team played well, and if not for the phantom technical in the 2nd half (I can't comment in the first one, since CBS couldn't figure out how to show it to us), this one would have been over much earlier.
Balamou hung in there well enough on defense, not sure what you expect. Multiple posters killed him for shooting 2/10 last game, so now he doesn't shoot much and he's being called useless. Lay off please, he was fine
