2024-25 Season

Fully expecting “Witness Protection” BE Commissioner Ackerman to show up for our Seton Hall game at Carnesecca Arena.

The only reason to switch would be money. Adidas may be willing to give some players NIL deals. Which would definitely help us. St John's is attractive right now. Rick Pitino is the coach, the team is winning, and the Garden is Rocking. We have been on the front and back pages of the papers and the sportscasters are talking about our team. Whether it's Nike or Adidas, our next deal should be substantially better.

I was talking to a Creighton fan at the half of the Creighton game at MSG. He told me he was just glad Pitino didn’t come out in a white suit (like the previous season’s game) or a red one. He said they knew they were done as soon as they saw the white suit. Was afraid he do it again or do a red one this year. As we know, the color of the suit did not matter.
 
I was at the game with my kids and was showing them the difference in the 2 coaches and the way to handle life.

You can whine and complain and wear diapers when things don't go your way or..

You can be respectful and work in the world around you and find solutions.

Doesn't matter whether you win titles or come in last.

You live and learn and be someone that others want to emulate.

what was Pitino like at Danny's age? Pitino has grown as will Hurley, as we all do. How it ends who knows.

Not sure what BT has planned but I know a bunch of us here are going to the NCAA's most of us it's no matter where we play so maybe we start a thread after the Marquette game an NCAA who's going thread then we can try and coordinate sitting together and pre game post game stuff like we did for Charleston trip last year

If we end up in Wichita god help the good people of Whicita because they haven't seen anything like a St Johns pre or post game trip event :)

I'd love to go but I'll be in Hong Kong for the first two weekends of the tourney. Maybe I'll see you in San Antonio. ;)
