2024-25 Season

Zach noted in a text we're likely switching from Nike to Adidas. Louisville was an Adidas school during his tenure.

But still an interesting note considering Rick sued them and settled it out of court four years ago.

Whatever Rick wants. Would think Nike is the preference by more potential players.

For those who could recall the hype/excitement around the this time of the season during Lavin's first year here, curious to hear thoughts of how you'd compare it to where we are at now with this season.

What do you guys think is the reason to switch to adidas? Is there some revenue sharing motive or something along those lines? As Amase mentioned, most people and players prefer nike over adidas

It’s not comparable. This is a team that can win multiple games in the tournament. I haven’t felt that way since 2000.

Interesting question. We got on such a roll with that team beating top teams in a much stronger conference if DJ didn't get hurt I thought we were going far. Part of me thinks that team was better but this team would beat them head to head because of Pitino

I've never felt this confident as a St Johns fan other than the first 2 Jarvis years and my last 2 years in School the Sealy years

But while I get the top 4 teams right now there is a drop-off I honestly don't think there isn't a team Pitino cant beat on any given night

And these kids are the easiest to root for

My mentality as a beaten down St Johns fan was to hope to win. Now I expect to win

The Kennedy injury killed what probably would have been a long run for us that year. I thought we had a long run in us last year as well. I hope we aren't dogged by injuries this year... This team as a long run in it as well.

I really hope not.
