2024-25 Rankings

The SOS has always been stupid. If you got 6 teams that are in your division that have such high ranking they just basically feed off of each other. Is the Big East down this year? Yes. But how can you raise the SOS if other teams lose early non-conference games especially now when half the players just met each other. The conferences are better off scheduling OOC games against quality opponents in the middle of conference season to boost SOS and get a true sense of what level teams are playing at.

So I get the NHL Center Ice package for 75 or $ 90 a season .

Living in NC as you do , I get every NHL game for the season , excluding ones on Regular Networks except 1 ,
The Hurricanes . I don’t get ANY of their games but , a big message on the Center Ice screen says due to local , blackout Contracts , the canes game is not broadcast .
It’s not just home games , either , it’s Every game , home or away .
I call Dish and get someone from Pakistan who asks what is Hockey?
It goes downhill from there .
Bottom line is , Dish won’t pay Canes their rate to broadcast

I refuse to buy extra crap, if it's not on cable I don't watch, I'll live.
If it's a big game, I'll go to the bar.

They can kma.

Watch, in 10 years some NCAA Tournament games will be on the streaming channels.

Not a bad deal. Peacock has a fair amount of college hoops on these days including other Big East games like PC - Xavier after our game Wednesday. I don't follow hockey so this time of year works well for me as I have all the ESPN+ college games through Hulu and what I don't have there get through Peacock subscription that only costs me $1.99 a month.

Duke's OOC wins against Auburn and Arizona will have them over us unless they somehow lose another couple of games, which I don't see happening
