2024-2025 Schedule

I rhought this was what it would be in terms of MSG vs Carnesecca.

The 3 I thought would be in Carnesecca were Butler, DePaul and SHU. Obviously Georgetown has been awful lately but that is not going happen, they are always going to get MSG.

Is New Mexico part of a double header? I love the story line of course, but does that game cover the rent of MSG?

Still think STJ should've gotten Syracuse for the Louie game.

I like the schedule. I do find it funny that Pitino hypes up Carnesseca as such a great home court advantage, but then decides to only play one game there after the first weekend of January. Wonder why...

New Year's means less and less to me ever year, to the point where I want to go out to dinner with mom and family at 5 the latest and be in pajamas in front of TV by 7. So playing Creighton on that date makes me pretty happy, especially if the time aligns with my early bird dinner.

114 road trip to Providence here we come
Why couldn't that game be Saturday? Friday night sucks to get up there with work. Daughter graduated PC in May and never got a chance to see us play at Dunk. this is the third year in a row Johnnies played PC and students are on winter break.

A couple of years ago the talk was to play more games at MSG, done, a few games at Brooklyn and UBS, cancelled, and less games at CA, changed. If the plan is to schedule games in the future like this year with games like Butler, DePaul and K State at CA is there any talk of modernizing CA?

Yeah I’d rather it be Saturday too but for me it will give me a chance to go up see clients on the way and near there in the afternoon but agree I’d much rather have a Saturday game. Plus I’d rather it not be so close to Xmas

The school found that keeping the doors open to the outside near the walkways behind the baskets actually did a real good job in lowering the temperature before the game so there has been talk of having them being opened at halftime to do the same thing

That’s the modernization plan

Dunk? Now the Amica Something. But I'm old enough when it was known as the Providence Civic Center. :)

And being retired, a Friday night is known as "just another night".

Anyone know if the New Mexico game is a day or night game? I'm trying to plan a trip to visit our daughters in Brooklyn & Weehawken around that game. Kind of assuming it might be Sunday afternoon.
