We're lucky that this is a really loaded draft class. If he's not getting a first round pick promise, the money could be right for him to come back to college. Bronny James broke the record for 2nd round pick $$$, and it is slightly over one million...

RJ - gonna be tough to convince him to stay... if he only just maintains the play/effort we have seen in 4 games... let alone Improves*... he will be on a lot of Draft radars come March....

gonna have to reel in some big fish from the Portal this season....

I was surprised to read that RP does not anticipate signing any players in the class of 2025.

Not worried about portal game under Pitino regime. I worry what kind of bait we’ll be using when he decides to retire. 😀
 
If we didn't prep for and play N. Texas last year, wonder if Scott would have even been on the short list to consider

i was surprised too.

but given how coach rarely plays freshman, it makes sense.

i'd rather physically mature juniors and seniors than someone like sim or brady who need time to develop.

coach knows clock is ticking. we need to win now.
 
...umm... what we think about this... motive? Ayo would give 110% regardless if he has a C next to his name or not...

motivation for those not showing it...?

I'm admittedly the eternal optimist but I suspect we're going to have a massive game Saturday in honor of the patron saint of St. John's. And we're even going to have a game thread where no one makes negative comments about any of our players who are going to be busting their butts to honor the great Louie! If only....

And Smith will play well coming off double secret probation. Winning strong will also ease up this recent discord too I bet,

Rick is quite the must-listen and real character. He used Vince has an example of why he doesn't like aspects of transfer portal because, while he thinks he can really end up as a very good player, he is also someone who's just getting 10 mpg and can get promised 30mpg next year somewhere else.

Last year, I'd use :oops: emoji. But being fluent in Rick speak means you can only laugh 🤣
 
while it should be obvious, i hope the school makes an announcement about getting to the arena early.

given how slow security is, fans should allot 30-40 minutes to get inside. Need everyone to be in their seats by 11:10am.
