There were quite a few people who thought RJ being in the NBA was an insane idea. Well, here we go...
I was at the October open practice last season and RJ was clearly the most talented player there. An NBA team will certainly take a shot at him. Maybe he plays himself into the first round with a stellar senior season...

This is where NIL can be a godsend. We can pay more than what a 2nd round pick would make, and sell that exact idea.I was at the October open practice last season and RJ was clearly the most talented player there. Not that you can’t become a much better shooter once you leave college, but if he were to come back with these same tools plus a big increase in 3 pt volume, his stock could rise much higher. This is where NIL can be a godsend. We can pay more than what a 2nd round pick would make, and sell that exact idea.

RJ was explosive in spurts last year, but he's been way more consistently explosive this year. Obviously, a product of improved health.

How was Smith? he say anything back to you? lolRJ like all the other players on this team were very receptive with the fans during the autograph session on Saturday night. Wilcher, Glover, Brady and Zuby with great personalities that stood out. They were all terrific.
Most importantly, they were great with a whole new younger generation of kids, including my son, on that long line that wrapped pretty far around Carnesecca Arena
Great job by SJU and the players. Well done event
Glover and Wilcher are next year's backcourt as of now, and I'm totally fine with that. Pitino will obviously be looking for some depth to replace this year's losses, and I guess we'll see how confident he is in these 2 come portal time.I don't think many are tossing him overboard. Just opining on how he's performed so far. I think he will be a fine player here, with a limited role, if he stays. But your point about recruiting and being recruited over is what leads to me to be concerned about guys like Glover and Wilcher in particular, if they do not see enough PT. Look at Zuby, who was recruited over at Kansas, and came here and is now excelling for us.
The Key is keeping Zuby and Luis.Glover and Wilcher are next year's backcourt as of now, and I'm totally fine with that. Pitino will obviously be looking for some depth to replace this year's losses, and I guess we'll see how confident he is in these 2 come portal time.
Don't forget about Lefty and I believe Smith has another year of eligibility should he choose to use it to play for us (could be wrong on the last part). The Key is keeping Zuby and Luis.
If do that you go to portal for a point guard and Glover takes on Wilcher role this year as basically 3rd guard even though sometimes starts.
Prey also.Don't forget about Lefty and I believe Smith has another year of eligibility should he choose to use it to play for us (could be wrong on the last part).
I was thinking backcourt players but certainly hope Prey is back.Prey also.
Smith's 5th year according to this although I've heard the same.Don't forget about Lefty and I believe Smith has another year of eligibility should he choose to use it to play for us (could be wrong on the last part).
Hip problems at a young age aren't good.Zach: Brady Dunlap's father told me a recent MRI showed a slight right hip labrum tear. Doctors said he could play through it. Cortisone shot seems to have alleviated discomfort. Dunlap said it is not why he has struggled shooting the ball of late. But something to watch.
Deserves credit for getting out there. That's tough.
HugeCurrently Kadary and Deivon are the only pair of teammates in the country to both average more than 4.5 asts and 5 rebounds.
Kadary 4.9 asts 5.7 rebs
Smith 5.0 asts 6.0 rebs
