No, I'm definitely not wrong. Granted Posh had 4 nice games towards the tail end of the season. He also had a terrible game the last game of the season. His entire season was up and down. He had a couple of DNPs. He looked very unhappy much of the time on the court. You can blame CMA and/or Curbelo, and no doubt they are partly to blame, but some of the blame falls on Posh. His best season was his Freshman year when he played mostly off the ball. I love Posh, but he is not a traditional half court PG. I believe Pitino would have found a role for him here, but I also believe that it wasn't the role Posh wanted. I'll trust Pitino on this one. Guess we'll find out next season who was right and who was wrong. You are definitely wrong, Posh played his best when the ball was in his hands.Last year having to share the ball with Curebelo, he never seemed to get comfortable. If you remember, once Curebelo was suspended, his production increased and he played very well. I believe that some on here are selling Posh short.
If Rick Pitino is the coach that I believe he is, he will recognize Posh's talent and what he brings to the table. If Posh is not here this upcoming season, I will thank him for his contribution to St Johns over the past three years and wish him the best wherever he lands.
I really loved Posh's post on Twitter, 'Never Ran, Never Will", this says all you need to know about the Heart of this young man.
