No but I did and always watch the two Army-Navy games each season and see the kind of disciplined basketball both teams play with and I believe that has something to do with both teams being from military academies. Oh and didn’t know I needed to receive an invitation to comment on posts between two other posters. Thank you for setting me straight.

There is a difference between keeping it real and being clueless
Catch and shoot guys thrive in Pitino’s system.
If Conway played for the previous regime, he would be buried on the bench. If he makes the most of his opportunities this upcoming season, he will play.
It’s actually the Keydets. Not being smart just found that out when we recruited him.

Thanks for hating on a kid who started the ball rolling on changing the culture of a program that had several players make us look like a laughingstock the last few years both on and off court and where team discipline clearly was an afterthought.
Nobody is saying that. I have followed him closely since a family member played with him at Prep school, not saying he’s an NBA player, but will be able to score, hit shots and open the floor for Soriano, who happens to love the kid.
I could be way off but think there will be times when he gets serviceable minutes.

I’ve seen Conway play. I wouldn’t discount him and think he won’t get minutes. He’s a very effective offensive player and not just a stationary shooter either. He’s pretty slick with the ball and has a really good shooting touch and a high basketball IQ. Can he be quick enough to defend in the Big East? That’s the question. The team is pretty deep at guard, but we don’t know yet who will be in the rotation. 15 guys aren’t gonna play.There is a difference between keeping it real and being clueless
I know fans are apt to overrate their teams roster. This second 5 (who knows who will start) could have conceivably started for St. John’s on a few occasions over last 20 years.
