Wow lots of heavyweight and great matchups. Big 12 better than ever with addition of Houston. Like that all 11 BE teams are involved not like with other challenges where their would be like 8 games with rotating sit outs for teams.

Slightly disappointed since we’ve already played WVU (2019-20) in the challenge. Was hoping to play each Big 12 team before recycling.

I remember us playing WV regularly in the pre-Big East days. They always draw a big crowd (not much else going on in WV). I was always amused by their mascot, who dresses up to look like Daniel Boone. They also have a something resembling a cannon that gets shot off. And Bob Huggins is a great floor show in his own right.

Should be a highly competitive and fun game to watch.
 
2 straight years we get a road game out of the B12 challenge. Wonder if there’s any chance we get a second straight home game in the B10 matchup.

Just returned from a long weekend there w my daughter - it’s her favorite city - didn’t get to tour Fort Sumter though - ran t his Cooper Bridge 10 K - worth a visit and a carriage ride - except Summertime when I’m told it’s very hot and humid.
Great to see competitive games being scheduled!
 
Interesting tidbit - Arizona PG Kerr Kriisa, who led the Pac 12 in assists this year, has transferred to West Virginia

Do we know for a fact that we're in the Gavitt Games? The Charleston Tournament is usually that same week, so unless they put us in very early, it's possible we're out of it this year.

Remember, only 8 teams play in the Gavitt Games, and they try to rotate who's out as much as they possibly can. I wouldn't be surprised if we take a pass on it this year, or even if we're just passed over.
 
Originally Minnesota was mentioned. Interesting to see if the last team is a B1G or a small conference team. Still hope to go if I'm not in Egypt. ;)
