2023-2024 Schedule

One less BE game at MSG w/ Michigan in the fold. From reading tea leaves (Sammy Albano Twitter lol), 2/3 of the schools you mention would be at UBS.

If I had to make an educated guess, the Marquette game would be the one at MSG, given their success this season & relatively sized alumni base here (it is shockingly large)

Marquette is also #3 in ESPN's way too early top 25, Creighton's at 15.

Do we think Michigan game was decided way earlier, or they shuffled us because Pitino name is bigger than Nebraska?

Probably his first National game and good chance on opening night of the BE/B10 tourney. Works for everybody!

Too bad we didn’t get Miami instead. I think that would be a great reoccurring game — old-ish Big East matchup, a lot of alumni there, and — right now — a very quality opponent.
Except for the last part - quality opponent- you could say the same for BC. Miami would be a good matchup but don’t hate the BC game considering its at Barclays.

The same argument could be made about BC, and they were longer BE members than Miami.

I really like the idea of old Big East matchups taking up our OOC, so I do think BC fits into that. But how good are they actually expected to be next year? I get the sense they’re going to be like playing Syracuse (ironically a team I also think we should be playing every year, lol) last year, who won’t be competing for a NCAA tourney bid. Miami should be top 25 throughout the year.

Keep Syracuse away. Let them rot. Do not give them any lifeline at all.

Let that program fold for all I care.

Best guess schedule v3.0 November/December
Buy Game #2 pre Michigan at CA - TBC
11/13 v Michigan at MSG Gavitt Games
11/16-17-19 Charleston Classic
Thanksgiving Break
Buy Game #3 @ CA / Possible dates 11/24-26 - TBC
12/1 @ WVU BE/B12 Challenge
12/6 v Sacred Heart @ CA
12/10 V BC @ Barclays
Finals 12/11-16
12/16 v Fordham @ MSG
BE Game #1 and possibly #2 Window, 12/20-24
Christmas Break
12/29 v Hofstra @ UBS

Adjusted for BC date. That's 11 OOC games on schedule assuming 2 more buy games. I can't see them starting BE on the weekend after Thanksgiving or during finals. Doesn't appear to be another gap in December unless they place twice between the 20th and 24th, or there's a boxing day game. Maybe they still will do a BE marathon on 12/31 for BE game #2 just two days after Hofstra.

November 13th at MSG, Michigan verses St. John’s.

Man... figures when we finally draw a Michigan...they seemingly are looking at a bit of a down year. This could have had some marquee names with Hunter / Love / Howard...

Fully expect MSG to be rockin and should be the first of MANY big time wins at the Garden for years to come.
