2022 Mets

A little disappointed in Walker last night. He needs to stop the bleeding. Had he held it at 4 or 5 we still had a chance. 8? Not acceptable. I mean he caught his spike and the meltdown was on. Oh well I guess it happens. Peterson is hit or miss today. They should be able to get Odorizzi. But who knows which DP shows up. Scherzer will step up. LGM!

Such a little thing (I guess) but why the hell did Cora send Guillorme down 8-1? You got the best part of your lineup coming up, you give them a chance. Especially, in hindsight, that we made the game interesting. That 2nd inning could have greatly changed things.

Huge runs just now puts us further away from needing Diaz this game. Absolutely huge

Buck jerked around with Lopez and now he has to use Diaz. As much as Givens sucked the other day he was the option there. Experienced guy vs 27th man. Never easy is it.

Peterson didn't suck today. You're right, Bill, you never know which Peterson you're going to get. Luckily, today we got the good one. Lindor is becoming a monster. This lineup has so many threats in it. I'm sure that no-one wants to play against this team.
Scherzer tonight. 🤞 It would be real nice if the Braves left town 6 1/2 behind and worrying about the Phillies catching them instead of trying to catch the Metsies.;)

Well Familia got DFA'd ...
I know you weren’t being serious but…There are no more waiver trades after the trading deadline. I wonder if picking up a DFA release guy and sending him to Syracuse as an insurance policy isn’t an option?

If this score holds to the 9th I'd throw Diaz again. He threw 7 pitches first game

This inning could be huge. Tack on some runs and run up the pitch count on Fried
