It amazes me that these kind of articles actually get published. “Hey here’s some nfl agents who don’t know Trevor Lawrence at all, read them speculate what could happen based on no inside info”

I could have been the f**king source for this Lol

“Hey jack what do you thinks gonna happen with Lawrence?”

“Well three things could happen Rich. He could go to the Jets, he could go back to college, or he could force his way to another team”

“Thanks for the insight jack the the story will be live in the morning”

Also SJUFAN,

Can we talk about your boy for a second? Tua... if he’s not gonna throw to DaVante Parker, can the Jets have him then?

Sincerely,

A disgruntled Parker fantasy owner

Haha...good one. Unfortunately, Parker has gotten dinged up each of the last two weeks. Now its a tight hammy. The surrounding cast Tua has had to work with has been historically awful. Makes some of what he's done even more impressive.

How dire was the Dolphins' WR situation yesterday? They were without their top six pass-catchers on the season who account for 74.6 percent of their 2020 receiving yards total. That's insane.

Fins were also down to their 5 and 6th RB's for that KC game. Kind of amazing it was a one score game with 6min left.

Losing Parker and Gisecki is going to put an end to our playoff dreams but next year is going to be fun. 5 picks in the top 85. Hopefully all on offense.

Not to mention he plays behind a very porous O line. Makes Jets O line look like the Hogs of George Allen's Washington Football team. :)

Yea the injuries to Parker have been tough. Been even still. His fantasy production When its Fitz instead of Tua is night and day. Fitz just throws it to him constantly. I love it. It was a huge part of my fantasy championship run last year. and I drafted DaVante again cause I thought Fitz was gonna last the whole year. Rug got pulled up from under me. Lost in the first round this weekend. Oh well

Nah. I'd have agreed if you were talking about last years team, that Oline was the single worst Oline to ever suit up in the NFL.
This years unit starts 3 rookies and while they have been pretty bad on the run blocking side, their pass blocking has been pretty solid. Tied for 15th in sacks allowed at 2.2 per game.

Can't just go by sacks allowed they roll Tua out a lot, throw a lot of quick slants and when he stays in the pocket he has very little time

True, but who doesn't move a mobile QB around these days? I'm not about to start watching every teams games to try to break down who does it more.

Just by going by the eye test, this oline is light years ahead of last years team from a pass blocking stand point. Its definitely middle of the pack.

Dream draft for me is one of the following:
1a- Pitts - TE
1b- Humphrey - C
2a- Harris or Etienne - RB
2b- Olave or Marshall Jr - WR
3 - OT

or

1a- Waddle - WR
1b- Humphrey - C
2a- Harris or Etienne - RB
2b- Olave - Wr
3 - OT

Would love to roll out an oline next year with 5 players in the 1st two years of their careers:
LT Jackson, LG Kindly, C Humphrey, RG Hunt, RT - Rookie TBD.

Give me one of those RB's, and add two rookie WR's to Parker, Preston Williams, Bolden Jr, Grant/Albert Wilson/Malcom Perry and this team is ready to compete.

Really can't wait for next season.

Wait until you see how good he looks throwing to Maynard, Sauer and Lammons!

Bamafan who do you see being a better pro... Devonta Smith or Jaylen Waddle?

I’m trying to talk myself into one of them being available for the Jets Seattle first rounder they have

Extremely tough call. Smith smooth as silk great route runner good hands good catch radius deceptive speed. Waddle speedster with big play making ability including on returns.

Always a danger of a team coming in way overconfident and despite what we as fans want the jet players themselves are desperate for a win.
