Great last name for a big man.
Oklahoma big man Matt Freeman will transfer, a source tells @Rivals; immediately eligible

I get the feeling he doesn't have much of a vertical leap.

I heard we signed his BIG BROTHER Tubba Lard.

Played his whole freshmen season as a 17 year old after reclassifying last summer. very talented kid.

I still think players should be able to transfer and not have to sit out if the coach gets fired or leaves. When you commit you are committing to play for that staff more than anything. If they all leave you should be able to find a different situation and not have to miss a year of basketball

He is the type of sit transfer that would be worth it. Stud recruit who already had a productive year...

Pick your spots.

Checks all the boxes for me: talented, proven, and great reason for transferring.

Saw him play in NCAA game vs Ohio State. He was terrific. Kept them in the game. He's better than any big man I've seen play here since Walter Berry.

Wow! Bet he can't wait to work with our big-man coach to improve his game. ... Oh wait, we don't have a big-man coach.

One can argue that we do not have a coach for any size player.

Source: Vanderbilt forward Matt Ryan will transfer. Averaged 8.1 PPG

Iona Prep grad & formerly at Notre Dame should be grad transfer
Ryan struggles from three at Vandy, coach got fired so it makes sense for him to leave as a grad transfer.

Could be a nice addition to St. John’s off the bench

These sound like some great transfer prospects. Any chance other teams will wait until we sort out our mess before they go after these kids?

Valpo grad transfer Derrik Smits is visiting Grand Canyon today, source told @Stadium. 7-footer averaged 12.2 points and 5.7 boards per game this past season.

Oh, boy. Alabama already has Kira Lewis and Dazon Ingram in the transfer portal. Now John Petty and Daniel Giddens have joined them, sources told @Stadium

Maybe we should hire Avery as an assistant.

Only real loss would be Lewis who is a terrific talent. Ingram came in claiming to be a one and done player should open a bakery he is a turnover machine and always falls down as he turns it over, Giddens is an Adonis all airport kid who looks great until he steps out on the court and Perry who came in highly touted as a shooter scorer is a streaky hot and cold 3 point shooter more often than not cold who can't hit a shot on the road to save his life. St. John's would benefit by staying away from all but Lewis who can play for anyone.
