2017 Transfers

BREAKING: @USFMBB leading scorer Geno Thorpe says he doesn't intend to play for the Bulls next season. Thorpe is set to graduate in June.

Also played for Penn St. originally
Thanks for making me google him, ;) not exactly a household name, probably even in his own house. Would give us good size in backcourt with Simon and (cough) Ellison. Like his assist and steals numbers and was their leading scorer at 15 with .375% 3 pt shooting.

Are we recruiting the whole south Florida team? Weren't we recruiting their other pg who left earlier in the year? Did that middling team really carry two big east caliber pgs
No idea but often times the best player (if he is) on a bad team is a pretty good player. Think they also had coaching issues and would be possible one year replacement should we lose a guard. (of course Paul may think this is BS and nonsense).

Hey Paultz when you speak people take it as gospel.

The best part of the offseason is reading posts from Paultzman.

By the way...can anyone confirm that we're not doing the stupid CBI waste of time tournament?

Don't think they want
t a team that just lost by nearly 50

Trey Mourning, son of Alonzo & a marginal interior player, is leaving Georgetown.

Wow. This makes me think JTIII is out.

Or just the opposite. The Alumni including former players are definitely pouting.

They are pouting with good reason
Georgetown is no longer the tough, hard nosed, physical team they used to be
The only thing keeping JT III in his job is Daddy

Not a transfer but;
Duke and Syracuse are among the teams expected to get involved with Tremont Waters since he reopened his recruitment, sources told ESPN.

Waters to Duke, who then stop recruiting Duval, who then realizes error of ways and commits to us.

I beg to differ on the physical part and add that they are still dirty (or at the very least, "chippy").

Everything else is spot on.

Think he recently visited the Hall who made his final 5. Do we want him there-helps conference overall strength-but makes our job tougher on the court and maybe in recruiting wars?

I Think the problem at G'town is that their Players dislike the Princeton offense that JT3 Teaches. Only kids at Princeton can like it as it is boring, and minimizes their individual talents. Not a good formula for sending players to the NBA. Which is why I think high level recruits are looking and thinking, is JT3 going to get me to the League?

Probably not.. Yes, the HOYAS are still punks. They foul hard but, take exception if you retaliate.. Ali's foul was a patty cake grab. Meanwhile , Ponds and Lovett wind up in the first row on drives to the Hoop.

Best stat in the article is 40% transfer rate by end of year two for all incoming freshmen. Best line is that it's all calipari's fault.

Louie was so far ahead of his time.
