Auburn's Mustapha Heron is considering transferring. Will make a decision in the next two weeks, per source.
wonder how we stand with a chance for this guy. Man if we add him and another decent big....fun to watch.

I just know from those in the know on this board and elsewhere we are involved with a bunch of targets.. How about getting some to commit all the talk is nice lets have some action

You probably posted the same thing last year, and we landed two transfers from major programs with great coaches. Maybe you should just relax for a week or two?

Thx! No sense having kids visit the campus & area, just get them to commit online. :)

Could be a busy month but since we are primarily looking at transfers I'd hate to keep stewing waiting it out. I'd like to see a "Big" commit asap. Lovett re-upping was big but I mean 4/5 "Big" . Would be nice to get another early commit like Diakite though.

Realistically who wouldn't want to play with Ponds, Lovett, Simon and Clark? Great opportunity for a 5. Watching Clark stroke 3s be nice to have an alternate lineup with him at 3 and Owens and skilled interior 4 or 5.

How many players that have announced they are transferring have committed to another school? One, two, none?

There is a reason for that. They haven't had a chance to really take visits yet. Relax.

At least one visit this week but it's a guard unless your in-the-bag guy is hanging out?

Matt's "in the bag" guy, not mine. :)

What the hell is going on in Storrs? This makes three players plus a top 2017 recruit all bailing out.

Meanwhile, Calhoun looked great in the stands on Saturday.

Associate head coach left the program after the season. The recruit, Makai Ashton Langford, said the coach leaving is what made him rethink his commitment.

I'm w you. Especially since we are 1 real good big away from being very good next year IMO.

Duquesne's Nakye Sanders has been granted his official release, per a source. Two years of eligibility remaining.

Man, you are quick. Went to Zach's twitter to see the Lovett tweet from the right nav, and the Sanders news was literally 45 seconds old. I was going to post. Silly me.

Here's what the Daily News said about Sanders in his all-Staten Island write up:

Nakye Sanders F, Sr., Tottenville: Sanders was one of three New York City players nominated for the McDonald’s All-American Game in Chicago this year, joining Wings’ Jessie Govan and Desure Buie. He averaged 15.8 points and 18.4 rebounds per game. After returning from an ankle injury in the middle of the season, he proceeded to lead Tottenville on an 11-game winning streak.

I find this intriguing . . .
