Joseph Chartouny of Fordham has just announced he is declaring for the NBA draft. A great kid but I am shaking my head.

Not much of a scoring threat but loves to play defense and rebound. Would be a good pickup with Williams leaving. Will have many suitors.

He could be a good fit. 6-7 240 and shot 62% from the field and had a double double against us and against Minn.

Defense and rebounds sounds good as does eligible immediately. Played a lot of minutes and almost 9 boards/game. Good start for our frontcourt needs. We would still need that big guy with hands to be a presence on O.

Zanna stats FG% (.624) better than FT% (.472)

Plus has muscles in places our guys don't even have places.

The main question is he signing with an agent? Declaring means nothing.

Unless I'm misinterpreting the rules, the problem with adding a sophomore (i..e, rising junior) transfer is that he'd have to sit out a year and would then be eligible to transfer as a fifth-year senior after only one year here a la DWill.

Kid should go to Harvard but McDermott would really improve his game.
