2017 Transfers

http://www.verbalcommits.com/players/mark-donnal

and he is immediately eligible....

Mark Donnal is not an original find, but looks like a better pick than Enoch who has to sit a year.

Marcus Evans seems like he would be a good get, if we needed a guard. As of now, we have Lovett, Mussini, Ponds, Clark or Simmons (I forget which is a guard and which is a forward). I am not even sure why Evans would consider SJU, given the lack of available minutes.

However, in Matt I trust.

I think Enoch would be a phenomenal pick up for us if the the staff also has a grad transfer big in mind as well. Enoch is 6-11 - 258 with untapped potential, and we all just witnessed what a raw big like this could do with a year off (Tariq Owens). Right now the grad transfer market for bigs is still pretty weak, but we are definitely in need of a big who can make an impact for next season. I think the staff will be patient until they see the right guy make a move. As for Evans, if LoVett comes back for one more season, Evans would be a homerun get.

Grad transfer alert: Howard's James Daniel III, who averaged 17 points this past season, will transfer, source told ESPN.

Sean Obi is graduating and transferring from Duke. - Jeff Borzello

Put up 11 and 9 at Rice. Nothing really at Duke.

6-9 - 255

Great kid by all accounts and super smart, but he has horrible knees, which is why not much happened at Duke. He would barely practice in order to preserve the knees from what I've heard.

Get some priests to pray over them and it might be worth a shot.

Top thing listed in his Duke bio: "An excellent communicator on the court."

"Throw it out to Ponds -- I can barely move. But I'll try to stand here and eat some space so Clark can try to get a rebound."

Seems like they type of guy who could make a nice impact if he dropped to a lower conference, but probably has Syracuse on the brain if he's from way the hell upstate.

Minnesota announces that sophomore guard Ahmad Gilbert is transferring.

Are there any bigs transferring that we are targeting?

It's beginning to look like the players remaining at their current school may be a shorter list then those transferring.
