2017-18 Transfers

Rutgers sophomore forward Matt Bullock and junior guard Souf Mensah have been granted releases and will depart the men’s basketball program. Bullock is pursuing a transfer to another university, while Mensah intends to pursue professional opportunities.

Marquette Sophomore center Harry Froling won't return to team for 2018-'19.

Based on the pre-college praise, this kid was a huge bust. I guess he goes to play in Europe.

I think Luther would be a huge upgrade. I'm all for it. He had almost double the stats and great rebounding numbers in a shortened season

A lot of these grad transfers could help us but which ones want to play here?

Luther was the player to be named in the Ellison trade.

John, any chance you can be added to the SJU staff?
You see more recruits than any of them without being paid a nickel.[/quote]

I sense Matt is getting frustrated with Mullin watching him do all the recruiting. I think he is putting feelers out not so quietly. But we are covered as Greg is scouting the Bay area and Mitch has the Los Angeles territory under surveillance.

I just hope that Mullin, Mitch and St Jean aren’t heading Back to Cali and leaving Matt to go out by himself and find a couple of bigs. I this staff whiffs on bringing a couple of bigs in here they should be ostracized and deserve whatever criticism they will get. There are guys out who can help this team immensely next year.

'72, are you basing your statement on the chatter from the other site concerning Matt following a couple of coaches on Twitter or do you have additional info in support of your "sense"?

Chattanooga guard Nat Dixon will graduate and transfer elsewhere for his final season, per source. Averaged 13.8 points and 4.6 rebounds, shot 39.5 percent from 3.
