Coleman is from Atlanta and it will be interesting to see if he looks South as well.
I don’t get it. Coleman is attending one of the finest schools in America and going into his senior year. What is the real story here? Matt's interest in sit out transfers is annoying but this one is puzzling. I could live with a 6'9 230 lb transfer with his numbers but if we can't recruit a guard over the next 2 years with his numbers Matt is not spending enough time in high school gyms.

Actually he averaged 8.6 in conference with 2 DNPs (maybe injured). He killed all the lesser UC's and Cal St's in Non Conference play to raise his average up. Scored 25.5 in those 4 games. He did score 35 against Wichita St though.
That sounds like he should play in the WCC or Big West and average 20 ppg.

Thought you had to be a juco grad to transfer to D1?
If you are eligible for D-1 competition right out of high school, you can transfer after a year. Maybe he was eligible, but didn't like his offers and figured playing juco would attract more attention. He averaged 19.9 points, 4.4 rebounds and 6.2 assists in his juco stint.

Was equally puzzled, but sense Coleman is just a guy he’s kicking tires on, not a “do or die”recruit. He knows priority is bigs, but let’s see.
Per Corey Evans
Pitt transfer freshman Marcus Carr has seen interest come in from Texas, Cincinnati, Minnesota, Iowa State, Gonzaga, Xavier, UMass, Marquette and Akron since receiving his release, per source. A top transfer prospect this spring

Is there a defined timeframe in signing transfers, grad transfers, incoming freshmen? Or is it now open season?
I know there are April and November signing periods. Don’t know where ‘grad transfers’ fit into that.
I don't think transfers sign LOIs so that doesn't apply. They have some other thingy that they sign but it's non-binding so really you don't know for sure until the guy shows up on campus and enrolls in classes. At least that's the way I've always understood it.

At St. John's even if they show up you don't know how long they will last.
Pittsburgh transfer Parker Stewart has heard from Maryland, Nebraska, USC, Oklahoma State, Missouri, Vanderbilt, Georgetown, St. John's, WKU, Wyoming and North Florida, he tells @247Sports.
Never saw the kid play, but his stats indicate he’s a 3-point maven (39%) and a good FT shooter (80%). I’ll take it!
Dayton F Kostas Antetokounmpo (RS FR) is leaving the program. (HT @BarstoolReags) verbalcommits.com/players/kostas…
Going pro, overseas I assume
Signing these foreign players are risky. Having Mussini and Freud leave after 2 and 1 years respectively did not work out well for us. Dayton gave Kostas a year scholy and got nothing out of the deal.

Actually 2 years as he redshirted his first year. Was very raw and didn't contribute much at all this season.
