Yet, he only averaged 9 points per game on the worst team in the ACC? Maybe he is getting scared away by another dead eye, Malik Ellison. :p

Odd stat: Shot better (.386) from three-point range than he did overall (.383).

Kind of like Brian Trimble

Not a transfer, but a decommit.

Corey Evans of Rivals seem to have some good reviews of this kid....

A 6-foot-5 wing and a top-50 shooting guard prospect from the 2018 class, JeanLouis has shown tremendous improvements throughout his high school days. While his jumper remains spotty, JeanLouis’ athleticism, playmaking skills, defensive versatility and quality motor had him one of the top non-power league signees.

Running on the adidas circuit with Team Knight and an integral part of his Canterbury School this winter, JeanLouis emerged at the highly lauded City of Palms Classic in December. There, he caught the eye of Rivals’ national analyst Eric Bossi. “Maybe the top athlete in the gym, South Alabama bound Berrick Jeanlouis showed big potential as a big, ball handling playmaker who can make an impact on both ends of the floor,” Bossi said. “JeanLouis is a bit raw overall, but he's got a very nice feel, a big-time motor and is an elite defensive player. His upside is huge and he looks like he'll end up a major steal.”

A major steal he was and now available and during a time when programs remain on the lookout for versatile pieces that can get better in college, expect for the south Florida native to enjoy a recruitment that bleeds into a high-major affair in the days ahead.

Rivals150 four-star guard James Akinjo has received his release from UConn, per source. One of the top available seniors now at the point guard spot

I guess landing a top PG, and playing Simon at SF and Clark at PF would relieve the pressure of trying to find two big men starters.

I know a bunch of people want Ponds off the ball which I think makes him LESS effective and also would hurt his Pro stock. Before we go recruiting starting point guards I hope they have a conversation with Ponds about where he would like to play. Because unlike Owens, Ponds should be catered to.

I still think Shamorie will be the point guard, but I wonder about Tre Mcgowns. Tre Mcgowns is listed as a 6’4 combo guard, wondering if Mullin pitches that idea of being the starting shooting guard?

That's Matt's job. But I could probably play center if I was surrounded by Ponds, Simon, Clark, and a top guard who just decommitted from UConn, Which means it would be time for Matt to to earn his money and bring in a 6'9"+ kid with decent hands and some muscle tone.

Marcus Carr received his release from Pittsburgh and he's definitely leaving the school, a source tells @247Sports. Averaged 10 PPG & 5 APG as a freshman.

I believe his brother is the star at Penn st
