2015 Bracketology

I'm watching Illinois St. blow out #11 Northern Iowa in the Missouri Valley Championship game. This is the #11 team in the country??? I've seen this team play a few times this year, no way are they the 11th best team in the country. Woiuld love for us to play them in a second round game.

I just read this and realized who jinxed my Illinois St. Plus 7. Thanks alot, I thought you only did it to teams playing St Johns. :p

Liking them any better yet? ;) :)

I've seen them play a few times bamafan. they are good, but they are NOT the 11th best team in the country. If we get a 6 seed and they get a 3 seed, I would love to been on their line in tournament bracket. If that's the case we will be going to the Sweet 16.

LMAO redmen2016 champs!!

I personally don't want any part of either of the two MVC teams who'll be in.

I think the formula for me when it comes to those teams is I want to play the well seeded teams (Northern Iowa at a 3 or 4 would be great) but I want to avoid lower seeded teams early.

It helps to get your work done early. Just ask St. John's. The Red Storm won seven of eight and locked up their at-large bid before they landed in Philadelphia this weekend, which made the 105-68 thrashing they received at Villanova's hands about as important as a lackluster practice. Which is to say: not at all. The only real takeaway is it was another chance to appreciate Villanova, which has completely dominated a league that looks all but certain to land six teams in the 2015 NCAA tournament. Saturday was an extreme but useful example. Villanova is really good!

Crazy that we'd have to face top 25 RPI teams on 3 straight days to win the BET. At least no chance (unless something wild happens) to damage our RPI

We may already be a 6. Hard to say. But if we don't get it, I don't care where we are 7-10.

No chance we are a 6 right now. Winning the BET could give us a shot at a 6, but we are an 8-9 currently.

With all respect, no way we are a 6 right now. I would take a 7-10... the 8-9 BLOWS.

Winning BET could give us a shot at a 5, definitely a 6. I think BET finals and we are likely a 6, perhaps 7. Beat providence and then lose to Nova, 7/8.

I'd much rather be 7 or 10 than 8 or 9. There's a big difference between the 1 and 2 seeds this year. Give me Kansas first weekend over Kentucky any day.

I said previously if we beat Providence I think we'll be out of that 8/9 spot even if we lose the following game.
