Its a .... MUST WINThis is a huge game for NCAA Tournament seeding and Rick knows it. We need to stay on the 3 line. If guys are healthy enough to play, they'll play. Gonna have to make sure the players understand how important this game is despite already clinching the regular season championship but I think Rick will be able to get that message across.
If player's health is at risk, do you value a road win over what would be considered a home loss at MSG in the BE tournament? Its a .... MUST WIN
Speaking for LMF , who is more than capable of speaking for himself, I believe he is referring to future NCAA seeding, no more no less.If player's health is at risk, do you value a road win over what would be considered a home loss at MSG in the BE tournament?
This game is a great exhibition for the real teams we’re about to face in the Big East Tournament and the NCAA Tournament. When these players had time off, they lost some conditioning, and playing them in a high-level game like this gets them ready for what’s coming. I’ve been listening to Pitino, and he seems to think these guys get rusty when they’re not on their usual conditioning regimen. Honestly, I don’t think these injuries are as serious as they’re made out to be—I think this is Pitino playing chess, both with his own players and the competition. He’s keeping everyone on their toes while making sure his team is as sharp as possible for the games that actually matter. If player's health is at risk, do you value a road win over what would be considered a home loss at MSG in the BE tournament?
100%, not a player anywhere who plays major minutes that is not sore and bruised at this time of year, big difference between being hurt and being injured.Speaking for LMF , who is more than capable of speaking for himself, I believe he is referring to future NCAA seeding, no more no less.
Not aware of any player whose health is at risk. They are all sore and bruised , all 5 starters.
Plus they have a week until the game. Pretty sure the staff and players can figure out if anyone needs to sit due to their physical status.100%, not a player anywhere who plays major minutes that is not sore and bruised at this time of year, big difference between being hurt and being injured.
I may be wrong about this, but I thought the BE tourney games were no longer going to be considered home games for us by the Dance selection committee. So a loss wouldn't be as bad.If player's health is at risk, do you value a road win over what would be considered a home loss at MSG in the BE tournament?
This is an unimportant game. Rest the starters. Nothing to gain.

Disagree but only partially. I don’t think this is so important we should be playing our starters 35 mins but this will be the best win on our resume and will help us get to a 2 seed. Matchups matter more then seeding but being a 2 if all goes well vs a 4 if things don’t bounce our way is a considerable difference.I actually agree, even if that’s a minority opinion. Right now I think we’re a 2/3. I don’t think a loss here would drop us one bit. If guys are healthy, play. But don’t push it.
If you want us to be a 2 seed, then we can't lose, period.I may be wrong about this, but I thought the BE tourney games were no longer going to be considered home games for us by the Dance selection committee. So a loss wouldn't be as bad.
ok, but a road win against a ranked team, is huge.I actually agree, even if that’s a minority opinion. Right now I think we’re a 2/3. I don’t think a loss here would drop us one bit. If guys are healthy, play. But don’t push it.
And an injury that carries into the postseason is worse. I trust in CRP. Aaron should be treated with more caution that is obvious Perhaps Alumni Hall could check in on the rest period for hamstrings?ok, but a road win against a ranked team, is huge.

Right now, Bracket Matrix has us as a 3.If you want to be a 2 seed, sure. I don’t care if we’re a 2/3 though.
Moved up from last 3 to highest rated 3 this week.
I think Marq win locks us in as a three seed with upside of a 2.Moved up from last 3 to highest rated 3 this week.
Hopefully the Wisconsin loss moves them up to a 2.
