#20 Marquette, Sat., Mar. 8, 12 Noon, FOX

I finally got to watch the extended highlights (about 15min worth of game time) and, granted, that’s hardly the entire game, but Wilcher was all over them. He’s gotten some stick lately and his numbers are a bit down and he stepped up to the plate on the road against the 2nd best team in the league. Poise to make that pass to Zuby was huge too. Bodes well moving forward.

And, God, how good is Luis?
The play started with Kadary's heads-up, never-say-die tip, but I was so impressed with Sim on that play. He's had some real boneheaded plays at the end of games this season and his hands are sometimes suspect. But on that play, he just grabbed it, dribbled once and so maturely fed Big Z. He could have tried to score himself, but he kept his composure and made the right play.

Sorry for another post in this thread. Does anyone know who the guy in the Red, St John's fleece/sweatshirt with a beard and glasses, who stormed the court from behind the bench and was chased of by a referee was? It's comical how suddenly he reversed course when he realized he shouldn't be there.

Interesting - could definitely see him as an option
All things equal I’m sure it’s a slightly better job, but Is Nova a better job than Marquette when you take into account the progress Shaka has already made and that he’s from Wisconsin?

Definitely didn’t take that into account. And Marquette basketball budget is always super high. Probably right he wouldn’t leave - was my East coast bias temporarily.

I’m struggling to think of a home run hire for them. Chris Collins is only 50, and multiple trips to northwestern is impressive even if not overly glamorous. But I feel little Pitini might be the most exciting hire for the fan base out of the early names mentioned.

Does Cooley want to dump Georgetown for an upgrade ? Has he seen enough? Ha.

Calipari see how much fun pitinos having in the northeast and want to ditch Arkansas after a year? (I’m sure not.)

Holloway sick of seton hall lack of NIL committment?

Richard Pitino comes east post New Mexico season?

What about Will wade - now that NIL is in full swing i imagine a big program gives him another chance and soon

Collins w strong Philly roots via his dad and modest success at NW seems to fit their profile and my guess is he may be Nova’s guy.
