#20 Marquette, Sat., Mar. 8, 12 Noon, FOX

This team and the 99 Artest team remind me so much of the old school tough NBA bball we are missing now. Our defense is suffocating, mid range game (especially Kadary’s) is a thing of beauty and our confidence in last second situations is so NYC. I guarantee no one wants to see us in the tournament. The sleeping giant has finally awoken!
 
It may time to resurrect an old nickname for this team.....The Wonder Five......although we are really just a WonderTeam this season.
While we may not see this level of success forever, we have to be thankful that the Pitino system will keep us nationally prominent throughout the old coach's tenure.
The Pitino haters have disappeared from the site and that is an extra bonus for the readers of the forum.😉

Oh man I went just reread most of the Georgia Game thread. Lots of posts didn't age well

Luckily mjmaherjr did no major damage to himself. :)

We shot 30%... and 2-18!!!! 2 of freaking 18 from 3!!!.... i dont care who we play... we arent gonna win many shooting like that.

Love it!! Most of that is true. Except we have won a few shooting like that.
 
I finally got to watch the extended highlights (about 15min worth of game time) and, granted, that’s hardly the entire game, but Wilcher was all over them. He’s gotten some stick lately and his numbers are a bit down and he stepped up to the plate on the road against the 2nd best team in the league. Poise to make that pass to Zuby was huge too. Bodes well moving forward.

And, God, how good is Luis?

Very different from many other coaches, frenetic, seemingly out of control, Rick always in control, and Kadary is like that also. Looking at his face and demeanor you can't tell if we are up by 10 or down by 10.

Yesterday, again, Kadary was rolling and diving on the floor for balls, for those on here, who said something like, Kadary is allergic to diving for loose balls, that is definitely not true. He's such a heady player.

You are 100% correct, looking at Kadary you cant tell if we are getting blown out or are up by 30.
Kadary was great, for the parts of the game that I was able to watch. He was also constantly holding his right thumb whenever the camera went to him.
He truly played through the pain. He is an outstanding teammate.

Hah! That Georgia thread still gets me mad lol…

I was wrong on one point- we did shoot worse against Butler lol
