@#19 Connecticut, Fri., Feb. 7, 8p, FOX

I’m not a boy. Not sure why you feel the need to call me out after a huge win, especially since I’ve been as optimistic as any fan on this board. But to answer your silly question, yes I still think our ceiling is a 2 seed.
Ok., my bad, you a man.

Bet ya we're a #1 seed after going undefeated the rest of the regular season, then the kings are winning the BE Tournament IN OUR PALACE.

8-9 by monday, top 5 when regular season ends.

Then after winning the BE. Tourny, we will be a #1 seed.

Just how it's gionna be.

It is time for me to get honest. I thought Uconn would win their 3rd straight natty. What I did not count on was Karaban and Mahaney being total zeros.

I misjudged their talent.

Because those 2 players are complete busts, I was wrong.

Uconn is not a natty contender.
Karaban is a great Robin. Just not Batman material.
Mahaney from St.Mary’s had meh written all over him.

Last post of the night. Sure maybe I’m riding a little high after that W, but…

This team can win the national championship. Period
I understand the optimism. Our defense is special. We have a chance to achieve things many of us haven't been able to witness from this program in our lifetime. But the last 9 national champions all had an offense in the top 10 in adjusted efficiency. Ours is currently 80th.

Watched the full Hurley presser. A couple interesting notes I took away.

- He hinted that his philosophy is to live with teams taking mid range jumpers, but he's going to make an adjustment next time we play them to try to take those away from us.

- He really really hates his point guard play.

UConn's season was done in by a rare bad evaluation on their part. They expected Mahaney to come in and be a very competent starting PG at this level. Now they're in scramble mode trying to get sufficient PG play out of an injured Diarra with no real backup.
